I loved the mural at the start. As for the wild mile, what a brilliant idea. I love that it's on pontoons, too. It makes it of the water but of the land, too. I think it will be great when it's finished. It is such a great use of old brownfield sites. Bringing life to areas that were needing it. I hope we get a revisit when it is complete. Was that a deliberate Bill & Ted insert at the end after the Batman ending? If not, it should be. Thanks for sharing, Anne. I really enjoyed this one, as I do all of them.

That looks exactly like the type of place that is right up my alley! I love seeing all of the native plants that are being reintroduced and the boardwalk looks fabulous. The fall colors are wonderful as well. 😊👍

I've done these walks before too. Wow thanks for sharing the emotional segment where you tell us who you're walking for. I hope they eventually find a cure. It's been like over 50+ years of researching and fundraising billions with really no cure. If anything, it's all about the process and standing together for a positive cause. ❤‍🔥❤‍🔥

Looks pretty awesome and on that bouncy boardwalk. That sure was a big turtle. Hope it's not one someone flushed down the toilet 20-30 years ago. You can tell the wild mile is in its early stages with its plant life. I can imagine it might get a bit lively with them in time 🙂

This was a terrific idea! However did you think of it. What a beautiful place. You mention more flowers earlier in the year perhaps, but it is amazing in October. I enjoyed the ride to Wild Mile but I am not a fan of Scootlady as Ninja! Not a single bike lane in your whole ride there. Thanks for showing us this unique and wonderful place.

It was good that you said that you didn't edit so you can see how to get down by the wild mile. Its great that you can kayak near there too and their mission is great, l I love what they're doing by changing it from an industrial page to more people friendly. After watching the whole video, im curious how many miles you would get with the other modes. Because that 35.1 miles you rode was really close to the 43 it showed in the beginning. Im sure you would have got an extra 2 miles if you pushed it down to 0%.

I grew up near 71st and the lake. We did not have such a nice path by the lake back then.

So nice that some of the roads r empty of moving vehicles! This way, u can whiz through them like they r yours!😊 lovely journey
