I remember this was the hardest thing I’ve ever tried, especially when you try Permadeath for the second real time. They should at least have the common decency, to spawn you back at the helicopter. But no, you have to get thrown back at the title screen and watching the Cutscenes all over again.

The light switch death with Val must have been so painful. I just got the plat today. I practiced on Nightmare and it took 4 Insane runs. The first I died in the cornfield about the same way you did, very RNG spot. The second was absolutely pathetic, on the 3rd chapter when the raft gets stuck and you have to dislodge it, the game glitched and I died there. I turned the non fail QTEs after that because I thought that was the problem. 3rd try I completely messed up in the final chapter 4 chase, the one before the lift, I waited too long on the wooden platform to recover some stamina but a madman hit me once and then as I was dropping on the floor he got me in midair.. The 4th try was the charm but I can’t imagine how hard it was before the update.. The first play-through I wasn’t that crazy about this game but after replaying the story some times, it really grew on me and is now to me one of the best horror games.

This game is a literally a nightmare on Insane mode

Well not gonna lie, but the eTo are totally useless. I mean, where you use them to spend? Just the clothes

So I recently just started playing again cuz I forgot I had this game and I was going for Messiah, a little tip is at 4:12 that arrow can bee really risky when you dive or slide it can still hit you, a sure way to not get hit is to go prone behind the rock and stick to the cactus’ and the wall to the left, I died there a lot of times on insane mode and had to reset the game, so I practiced it in nightmare and I did it 10 or 11 times to make sure it wasnt just a fluke and it work everytime.

the one in the forest with the barbed wire, going straight ahead is indeed an insta-kill zone.

Nun habe ich das game endlich durch, habe zwischendrin aber manchmal auf leicht für bestimmte Errungenschaften gewechselt. Nun muss ich das game für die letzte Errungenschaft wegen dem hardmode nochmals spielen. Gar keine Lust......

Zu der Frage ob es regulär möglich ist, ich denke schon. Hab eine Stunde rumprobiert und bin auf 3:18,7 gekommen. Denke mit paar Stunden Aufwand wäre das gegangen, aber hab es jetzt mit dem Glitch gemacht. In einem Gran Turismo Game eine Strecke bis zu Perfektion zu fahren...ok, aber bei diesem Game..., ne lieber nicht.😂😅 Die Fahrphysik haut nicht vom Hocker.😂

An alle PC/Steam Spieler: Wenn es verbuggt ist und die Runde nicht gezählt wird bei der Ziellinie, einfach an ihr vorbei fahren. Der „Checkpoint“ liegt zumindest bei mir weiter hinten. Wenn man die zweite Runde normal absolviert, sollte es dennoch mit dem Achievement klappen. P.S.: Bei mir war es das gleiche mit dem Achievement wo man rückwärts fahren muss.

*UPDATE* it works i triedit for 6 hours i earned 12000 eto. But in my opinion its impractical i left my ps4 running and it was loud. Mind you your electricity bill.

Nice video I also did the messiah trophy 3 years ago it was very hard but I needed 7 attempts for it (I feel all of the deaths in the video..)

Basically everything 1 hit kills on insane, as even if you take 1 hit, a lot of the time it slows you down to where you can't get far before they land the finishing one.
