Sorry to hear your issues w/dealerships and corporate Indian. I own a 2016 Victory Vegas 8 Ball; I’ve never had any issues with the bike. I have a great friend who owns operates a diesel and auto repair shop and rides motorcycles also, so he advises and help me if I got any bike questions. From Oklahoma,USA.

It's not just the two brands of motorcycles. It's the attitude of every company nowadays. They all want just quick money. So the high end products are prefered bc of margins. As soon as a product is sold they don't care anymore. Service costs them money (storing parts...) although as a customer they rip you off anyway. So the parts are only good enough as to avoid costs on the companyside, no matter which brand. Indian is right now only pushing to get their share of the market. Customizing my Chief Dark Horse is a pain in the ass here in germany, bc there is no support by Solaris, like pushing the aftermarket to do something. Not big enough numbers i guess.😒 Soon enough it will be over (not only) for both brands (restrictions bc climate...) Europe is a "third world market" for the accountants of both brands anyway.😒 Stay safe 🖖

Do the police leave you alone? I thought the blood bikes were not allowed to use their blue lights? I would have thought they wud remove them?

Hi yes you sould be able to ride year round but i dont think many do and no dealer realy expects you too i do but drown my harley in ACF As for polaris they let every Victory owner down without a thought i know i was one would niver buy a indian for that reason love the bikes DO NOT trust polaris realy hope it all gets sorted

Hi good vid I owned a Victory loved it to bits started to take so long to get parts to my local dealer so I sold it and got a 2013 harley street bob few mods and she rides great My only problem with polaris is the way they just dumped Victory love the bikes don't trust the company I do most of my own work and the way Harley are performing at mo will not buy a newer one untill all this is sorted hopefully the CEO Is history you ride safe

Good insight. I think both companies are changing trying to appeal to the younger crowd. As you stated at the end of the day it’s about sales. You touched on quality and using cheaper parts. With the economy being what it is it costs more to make that motorcycle. I feel to offset rising cost to manufacture Polaris uses inferior parts so they can at least maintain their profit margin or increase it. I am curious if Alexa counted the dealerships that sell multi brands. It’s obvious if a dealership sells Harleys. The sign out front tells you. However I think a lot of Indian dealers are having to sell multiple brands which leads to dealership names like Off - Road express where I bought mine. Glad to see you are doing well brother.

This will be my 3rd year at IBW. Once I started posting on fb about IBW, people reached out to me to share their version of Art and to discourage me from attending. I'm a grown-up and can form my own opinions. My i teractions with Art have always been good. He even supports me by allowing me to sell tickets for The Hope Motorcycle Rally during IBW. Heck, he even purchases tickets and then uses them as raffle prizes. We have enjoyed our time at IBW and will continue coming back until we are not physically able.

I know some people in merica are upset with the discontinuing of victory. My understanding is victory was such a small part of sales. Just off that basis why produce something that doesn’t make you much money. I also think Arlen Ness’s influence on styling played a part in the downfall of Victory. The riders groups in America have disappeared. I remember when events used to be posted on Indians website. Join group …. And ride from …… to ………. Being a part of the riding group also used to get you little gifts throughout the year. That stopped in 2018

I had my bike go into limp mode once. I have a habit of not letting off the throttle much to shift. The mechanic said the computer thought the throttle was stuck open so the computer out bike into limp mode. I have had issues here with Polaris too. My understanding is anything electrical they don’t cover.

Go easy on Polaris execs. They already have to deal with me haha

Hi Stuart. Totally agree with you on Polaris. I'm on my second bike and spent over £50k in total. At the moment I'm still waiting for parts under warranty. I will say this is my last Indian but no one will take it in part exchange due to its cost. I have had my Pursuit dark horse sine June 2023 and have 5500k miles on it . Second front tyre and still waiting for the next one due to wheel wobble. I have used this bike a during the winter and the exhust is so rusty . I have other bikes in my garage that are ove 25 years old which have been used during winter and are still in better condition than my Indian as you say Polaris are not interested in getting things sorted.

So I can’t go on this run unless I have a Indian and a vagina. Guess I’m out.

Hi mate as you know I travelled with you on a few trips on my roadmaster and you always used more fuel than I did. I had a issue with same dealer with my seat , seat was peeling off after 6 months as reported it just to be told that the workshop had a marker pen from polaris to colour it in , after reporting it again 2 or 3 times and getting same reply, I took it to another dealer they did take pictures and sent them to polaris ,only to be told that polaris said its wear and tear. I only got word of mouth saying that no paperwork from dealer or polaris. Ii owned a 2008 suzuki gsx1400 with the original seal in perfect condition and 15,000 more miles on the clock . I do love the indian motorcycle motorcycle but will never recommend them to anyone again.
