Parker Tree Service Springfield Missouri
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 14 ส.ค. 2006
I currently live in Springfield, Missouri. This channel was originally created to communicate all things trees for the Front Range of Colorado, where I lived and conducted business for 21 years. Hence, much of my content was captured in Colorado.
I moved to Springfield in the summer of 2023. I'm discovering and learning so many more things about trees, insects, tree pathogens, etc... As I get more familiar with these issues, I will be creating new content to educate future customers in Missouri.

Parker Tree Service Is Moving

You have been part of my family business for many years! I am grateful for your trust in my care of your trees! As many of you know and witnessed, I have tried a lot of approaches to "doing" the tree care business. I've had lots of staffing, lots of equipment, down to much less staffing, and much less equipment. Right around 2019, I realized I needed to refine what I do and how I do it. I knew ...

Your Tree Assessment of Tree Health vs. Professional Arborist: Locust Trees
มุมมอง 552 ปีที่แล้ว
Often times I hear comments similar to, "That tree looks fine. I don't need anything done with it." This video gently explains that a professional opinion typically outweighs the layperson's opinion. And if the layperson persists their tree is fine, they won't get up close to see if the tree is diseased. This video may help you get up close to your tree to look at your tree in a different way. ...

My Linden tree is at least double the height of these ....i could never reach the top with a sprayer.. I'm seeing Japanese beetle for the first time this year ....is there anything i can feed the tree to make it survive the infestation?
What is phospho-jet ?...can I apply it myself?
WELL, THAT SHOWED ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!
Ef2 landspout tornado
I have a large Colorado spruce that's leaning at what looks like 45 degree angle probably less it was straight before road and city water line work i just noticed the lean yesterday the culprit is a front end loader there is bark missing and branches broken off about six feet up this is on the side near the rear what happened the crew cut down our best spruce tree because they had to dig up the water main connection , when operating the machine hit the tree hopefully the tree can be straitened winching of with a tree spade truck the tree is about 40 feet tall - losing one spruce is bad enough losing a second is criminal
Awesome job! Alot could have gone wrong. Oh yeah, wind too! ♥️👍👍
Definitely a Landspout Tornado (Non Supercell Tornado) very nice catch there i haven't seen many Landspouts not very common in Ohio however i have observed over 80 Waterspouts, mostly Fairweather Waterspouts (very similar to Landspouts) and a couple Tornadic Waterspouts over Lake Erie

IRON TREES
Is there a time of year that is best for this treatment?
What are you injecting? What pesticide? Whats the formulation? We have black pine beetles issue in NY -.Long Island
My good friend Noel Boyer is in Springfield Missouri, All about trees!
I have a huge oak tree in front of my house. That’s being decimated by carpenter ants since I moved here. So I was looking through TH-cam to figure out how to get rid of them when I came across your channel. And at 54 seconds if you look right above your finger where you’re pointing there is what looks to be a face and the bark looks really cool.
As an arborist I also think so as well. But has nothing to do with verticillium wilt. But rather secondary root die off
As an arborist I used to think so also. But it has nothing to do with verticillium wilt and more to do with secondary fibrous feeder root death
The Medicap implants work excellent, I have treated many maples in the Highlands Ranch area over the past 20 years with excellent results.
I probably have been damaging my trees mowing the law
Good job man. Thank you. I’m a new home owner and I have lots of trees and I don’t want them to die
Blessings Jamin in you and yours in your new adventure!
You will love Missouri! Some of Bart's family is from that area. He hasn't been in quite some time, but it's a nice area to settle down. Good luck to you and your family, you have to do what's right for you and them. Good for you.
Do you think the last tree is salvageable? The one you say "you could say it's already dead".
Jamin, Thank you for sharing your passion for trees. I always appreciated the professionalism of you, your, business, and your crew. As a residential customer, I know that I was just a small drop in your big bucket, but I was always very excited whenever Parker Tree Service was doing work on my property. Wishing all the best to you and your family as you begin your new adventures in Missouri.
Locust borers usually attack dying branches and not usually healthy ones. The tree was stressed before the insect problem happened. The canker started with stress also
It may be freeze damage from October 2019 or even the freeze damage from 2012. Maples can get apple tree borers. Try injecting imidacloprid for that. I also see some orange in the valleys of the bark. That could be some fungal canker disease starting. Canker diseases don't always show oozing. I find it a lot in maple trees and usually it shows up as staining 9n the bark or the callus wood around wounds is an orange color. Try injecting for canker and see what happens
Squirrels don't like the taste of permethrin either
Hi! I put Medicap Fe implants in my Silver Maple. I put too many! I only needed 6, and I put 10 of the 1/2 inch size. Am I going to be OK, or should I try to pull some out? It was very Chlorotic.
howd it go
@somerandomguy7458 Hi! It brought an entire portion of the tree back to life that I thought was doomed. The tree is thriving now a year later. The plugs were completely grown over in about 3 months, and the winter cracks from freezing are completely healed. The leaves were double the size, and went from pale yellow to deep dark green, and the fall colors were amazing. It completely saved the tree.
@@SBow311 Thats amazing. im sold on the product then!
@somerandomguy7458 I was nervous about it at first. I can say with complete confidence that it was a great decision. It was really easy to put in too. I put a piece of tape at the target depth of 1 1/4" on the drill bit, and it perfectly matched up to the cambium. Then I tapped it in with a hammer, and the handle of my socket wrench. The same company has other nutrients, a 12-4-4 with iron, and they also have insecticides for things like aphids, borers, etc. And it's cheap! My pack of 10 Super FE implants was $10!
Hi
Great video
Has that got a gasser in it ? Sounds like one
Are the sirens going to go off
The opposite side has included bark also. Am I wrong?
Rookie mover your finger!
Roughly what does that chipper cost? Thanks
Wait... Why shouldn't you say skeletonize? This is happening to all my huge Siberian elms here in NM. I don't know what to do. I can't have all of these huge trees start dying. I noticed grubs in the wood of some of the elms I cut down a couple of years ago and saved the logs for firewood. Do the leaf beetles lay grubs in the dead wood of the trees or is that some kind of bark beetle too? Thanks for your help!!
nice unit. im jealous tbh.
9:12 exactly correct, the tornado ripped off some power lines and torched a building with them. This one also picked up some semi trailers and smashed them over the fields, shredded the top floors of a few houses, and made a mess of a few farms. You could see splintered wood everywhere from the heli. One fortunate house has the tornado spin right through the front yard, literally on their doorstep, and only suffered a destroyed shed + some very misplaced fencing. Poor guy near the power plant though, he had his shed THROWN onto his mother's car and his house & vehicles got impaled by all manner of tools.
I would recommend milky spore for sure
Thank you Very informative 👍
It spread to Kansas this year. I had 3, 57 year old Elm's that were 26" in diameter at the base removed this year that were so badly diseased early on that there was no hope of recovery. The good news is I'm sleeping much better at night without worrying about those rotting giants falling onto my house.
WOW! That is horrible.
