About the Community Engagement Exchange Program:
The CEE Program is a dynamic global network of innovators dedicated to addressing critical 21st-century issues in communities worldwide. Our mission is to equip passionate visionaries with the expertise, skills, and resources needed to develop innovative approaches, fostering healthy and engaged communities in over 100 countries.
Transformative Leadership Development:
CEE offers a year-long transformative leadership development experience designed for civil society leaders aged 21-28. The program empowers participants to leverage the power of networks, relationships, and information for the greater good. We focus on critical topics such as civic dialogue and peacebuilding, open and participatory government, women and gender equality, resilience and sustainable development, and youth engagement.
My experience: I spent an incredible 3 months volunteering in Chicago at the Youth Technology Corps! While there, I lived with an amazing host mom, Jennifer, through a homestay program. This experience allowed me to meet incredible people from all over the United States and explore Chicago's hidden gems, like the Garfield Park Conservatory. I even got to catch a thrilling baseball game between the Red Sox and the White Sox! This vlog will take you through my unforgettable adventures in the Windy City and then in Washington, DC, before returning home!
