The Mission Volume 1: Part 2
The final segment of Volume 1 of The Mission.
The stars aligned on one of the final sessions of Jaco's campaign at the
mighty Roodekoppies Dam. A session that wasn't supposed to be filmed at all quickly turned into a manic rush to join Jaco and start filming.
After enduring a number of brutal months, struggling with the weed, weather and competing for swims with other anglers, Jaco finally gets to reap the rewards in achieving the goal he had been working so hard for. This was a mamoth campaign and had more anling hours put into it that most would have in a year, however the efforts definitely paid off.
A huge congratulations to Jaco on this huge milestone and accomplishing his mission!

After a very successful Fox SA Squad social in 2022, brand ambassador Jaco Jacobs decided to make it his personal goal to catch a 20kg carp out of Roodekoppies Dam, this is how The Mission was born.. Join him during his campaign, as he manages to land 69 30lb carp, with 3 of them going over 40lbs!!! The competition winner from the last video will be announced at the end of the video. The Fox South Africa Squad had their social event at Roodekoppies Dam in August 2022. What was supposed to be a relaxing get together with a few fish in between, and with no plan to actually film the session, it turned out to be absolute carnage with a number of big carp being caught. We figured it was too good an opportunity to miss out on and scrapped together a few GoPros and started filming...

Woooow. Super well done! I have not been on the Carp scene for long, moving inland from the coast. But love this facet of angling. Dreaming of that lump myself. It feels like a 20kg Carp would outshine the dozens of 150-200kg rag bags(Raggies) I've caught over the years. 🤣🤣🤣
