Rozier averaged 24 points a game the first half of the season with the Hornets, and 16 with the Heat. That's on Spo for putting out an offensive scheme that gets players (year after year) hurt and turns scorers into inconsistent shot takers. Spo's offenses are always among the worst in the league, and yet the Heat and media want us to believe that Spo is elite. No chips without Lebron, and a .544 record without Lebron. We need an offensive minded assistant coach that can take over the offense.

He is a STUD On Offense Too small to play Defense

Once again, Terry Rozier, Haywood Highsmith, Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, and K. Ware. The Defense would be nasty, with enough offense to goooooo!!!!! Off the bench, Isaiah Stevens, Tyler Herro, Josh Christopher, K. Johnson, Jaquez, Jovic, etc. 🔥

Everybody might disagree when I say this but when they said that they've already made their off season move back in March, I feel like that was just a way of covering up the real reason why they couldn't land anybody in this off season. That's just my opinion

Great defensive lineup. This year let it be a battle between Duncan, Tyler, and Highsmith. I don't think it should be a clear cut until after training camp. Let the best man win that job.

I was huge into it when I was a kid. I saw Randy Savage in a steel cage match live. I think it was in Miami. Or it may have been in Tampa visiting my cousin. I don't recall who it was against. My favorite was the Ultimate Warrior and I loved the British Bulldogs and The Hart Foundation. And in WCW I liked Lex Luger and Sting. I used to love the Miami Dolphins as a kid as well but the only sport that I kept interest in into adulthood was basketball. I don't know who Roman Reigns is but I will look into him.

In the first half of last season Terry Rozier was putting up nearly identical numbers that Lillard was in Milwaukee. He was in the top ten in 4th quarter points. Early in his career he was primarily a scorer but now he is a legitimate playmaker. He evolved. And he is coming to the Heat around the same age that Jimmy Butler did. Jimmy was really good in Chicago, Minnesota and Philly. But joining the Heat made him elite. I think the same will happen for Terry. In fact I'm predicting that Rozier makes the All Star team this season. I could easily see him putting up 24 points and 8 assists per game. And putting up some 40 point games. The whole point guard vs shooting guard thing has become obsolete to me. I want Duncan Robinson to start but I do want Haywood Highsmith to be on the floor instead in the last 5 minutes of the 4th quarter of a close game. Love this episode and your analysis dude.

Rather have Terry over herro at this point. If we can somehow trade herro, I believe it will open the doors for the young guys such as Josh Christopher, Keshad Johnson , and Isiah stevens

Ernest you are so right, Spo must make up his mind,with either, Herro or Rozier starting at point guard. I happen to like Rozier starting,and Herro coming off the bench.Great podcast.

Taylor played 42 games last year. He couldn’t be consistent. I agree he needs to stop talking tough shots. I expect Herro to average 23.5. Herro is not coming off the bench the heat will rather trade him for nothing. He needs to be more off ball I agree with that as well

32 here, 6'4, 245 lbs. Been playing basketball my whole life. I definitely play different now than I did in my 20s. I was a slasher who couldn't reliably shoot and didn't have much strength, also was an awful defender. I do not really slash anymore but am now a heavy post player and midrange shooter, and corner threes when I'm in rhythm. Have largely decided to devote most of my energy to defense and playmaking which is more fun and challenging to me. My aim for my 40s is going to be leaning down to 215, work in the post during mismatches but hopefully be automatic from 19-22 midrange and keep working on that 3, will be better on the knees and all

Heat need to stop screwing off in the regular season and put them selves in better position so they aren’t in the play in. Unfortunately they haven’t made any meaningful acquisitions so far and other eastern teams have. The heat will have a hard time placing better next year.
