Why I Don't Care about Avengers Endgame
Based.
Kool-Aid is wholesome. Jamestown did not commit suicide with that product but with Flavor Aid. Not that you want to change your platform but if you wanted to talk just a touch softer it's borderline ASMR.
That is a lot of ponies in the background
Indeed! Did you know my amazing and talented wife made that shelf all on her lonesome!! She took scrap-wood and turned it into furniture!!
Oh YEAAAAAAH!
Hey Mathew, sharing those comics reminds me of the simple things we treasure as children. Seeing Kool Aid reminds me of making my own and always having dyed red hands every time. Thank you for sharing.

34:57 I’ve thought this too. The guy stories work way better as dramas and slice-of-life stories rather than superheroes. This genre just needs something much different than what he gives.
I LOVE genre bending stories, but this ain't it.
“WonderWoman and Steve Rodgers…” “Son of Superman and Batman from the 90s when they got married…”18:41 These flubs are amazing. 😂
hahaha!!
“We’re talking about Wonder Woman-“ Me: 😃 “-by Tom King.” Me: 😖😫
Is this that new halo 2 game?
Sorry I missed the stream. But don't worry, I caught the replay/vod, and I'm very upset at your "We call him Tal for short" quip.
Nice. I've been telling that joke for 21 years
I wonder what the comments will look like on this one.
The bird is the word, or The Penguin in this case.
Who are you, and what did you do with the real Rhys?
Always here and always the same. ;)
How did you not shill the colab?!
I recorded this before we were finished and announced. And I never went back to edit or add to or anything because I suck

I don't know why this comment was deleted, or maybe somehow it wasn't sent during the chat, but here it is: We celebrate the Punisher's enacting of justice in his particularly personal and gruesome way because we see his justification. But if we didn't, we'd see him as a psychotic monster. So if you REALLY want to OBJECTIVELY determine whether the acts of a comparatively few are unwarranted or indicative of the entire 1,995,507,000 Muslim world population, then you should seek to see both sides, or all sides, of the big picture. My brief impression of Bosch here is that he's either been traumatized by an invasion that has thrown his culture into an existential crisis and is blindly laying blame on those foreign hostile enemy combatants (instead of seeing that it's clearly orchestrated by his own cold calculating sociopathic elite who have betrayed their own country) and/or he's capitalizing on the resulting tensions, of which he would have NO incentive to resolve or to even objectively see any truth, let alone look for it, (such as what really happened on 911) that would undermine his monetized narrative. That's a tough spot to be in. And unfortunately Objectivism, which induces a sense of intellectual elitism in most every adherent while despising humility, doesn't seem to be doing him any favors. As Ayn Rand would say, he may want to check his premises. And he'd do well to also actively look for where Ayn Rand was wrong. But he most likely will not, because the love of money is a most powerful driver, a terrible master, and is at the root of why such power struggles and betrayal exist to begin with...objectively speaking.
I must admit that came to this stream late (about 40 minutes into it) without knowing anything about Bosch or Pigman except for a hostile Comicsgate exchange on X where he sounded like he was going off the rails. To be fair, it is Twitter. But now that I have a sense of his backstory (for some reason I thought he was German) and how he was raised in a Muslim household, that makes it quite a bit more complicated...probably can add childhood trauma to the mix. Had I not had something of a bonding experience last night with a Kurdish Iraqi Muslim who worked with the American Special Forces and expressed a love for American ideals, I wouldn't have been so strong in my defense of them. And again, I'm not converting to Islam but what we bonded over was a shared commonality for the values of life and liberty against what we both adamantly agree is an all out assault and attempted destruction of the values at the foundation of the Abrahamic religions, which are objectively the values that promote and sustain life, prosperity, and sanity. Maybe he's what Bosch refers to as a passive Muslim, though he didn't shy away from expressing his Islamic values while at the same time respecting my Christian and, to some degree, Objectivist values. That mutual respect, along with identifying a common enemy, is what led to a very satisfying conversation. And this is what you're going to have to do when dealing, and co-existing, with other ideologies and religions. It's not going to do you, or them, any favors in waging war against their entire culture comprised of nearly 2 billion people. Unless, I guess, if your agenda is to monetize tribalistic tensions. While Fawstin does state the hard truth that some (that the wicked) are entirely unable and unwilling and untrustworthy to negotiate with, those are typically a small minority of extremists found in most EVERY ideology and religion, because no one has an exclusive claim on the rampant evil and insanity within a rotten human heart. Furthermore, if you do wage such a war, you only run the risk of radicalizing them, thereby instigating them to become the monsters, or "savages", that you want them to be to conform to your expectations. All that said, I'd like to see Bosch try his hand at something that isn't so outright offensive or on the nose. Abstract it a bit (or a lot) into allegory where an entire religion that's been around for centuries isn't branded as if the devil, as if the Great Satan, while observing instead that which drives man to madness in whatever form it manifests.
There are so many pig jokes to make that I can't decide on one.
No sweat.
I remember reading this as an actual novelization in high school
Holy art panel, Batman!
Adulthood ruined my childhood... but seriously it's almost more like what childhood property hasn't been ruined? I barely read the garbage books @ DC & Marvel & I used to love them so much. I still enjoy the old school stuff, but often feel that some of the modern ones don't pay full respect. He-man is touch & go IMO, Thundercats 2011? was done right, but I could go on & on. Cobra Kai paid soo much respect to the original & added new layers & character development. Ghostbusters: Afterlife felt like a good send off/ continuation to that series. But I could go on & on.... Tron Legacy was awesome & it should have made more $ & been better promoted.
The sad thing it the sequels to both Tron Legacy AND Jon Carter of Mars were shelved when Disney acquired Marvel and Lucasfilm. It like the embodiment of the guy looking back at the girl while his girl looks at him meme.
Another fun show my friend! BTW, we are back in town...
Sweet!
Privyet!
Who do you think should win the award?
Let us know your Eisner pick!
It's the night of the beards.
I like the continuity of saying I am “as always” on the previous one acknowledging it wasn’t true and then “as usual” on this one. Nicely done.
HAHAHA!
Send me a script of current day politics of the 1800s and I will draw it
Can you sell me on these books?
Thanks to Mike and Kelsey for making this a great show!
I'm lovin' your stories, dudes! BTW - you're both wrong - it's Jer-A'-see. But not to worry, I have one of the toughest names to pronounce. It's Sicilian and my dentist, my car repair shop, etc., still mess up my name - lol. Who would have thought Erik Burnham would be a huge star? He's done a fantastic job with Ghostbusters' lore, which can be tricky to satisfy fans.
Thanks for the correction!
3 words: Leonard Nimoy's Primortals (well 5 if we add Tekno Comix). It was a fun & semi-original comic! Ps- You had some fun picks even though I haven't read them all.
"PromoSM" 😌
Thanks for the shout out! Much appreciated! I enjoyed the podcast.
Referring to Twitless's underground webcomics, of course. 😆😜
Should have read the annual.
Why shall Rhys return? He seems to be here now.
HAHAHA! I left that note for the guys in the pre show when I are a sandwich. Then forgot it was there
Pump the stock
Hey very good and thanks for sharing my bro. I wish I could have made it to the premiere but I watched/listened to the whole thing. Good work everyone on your creative works.
Thanks for the visit!!
Le epic show
Thanks!
Good show!
Thanks!
Superfriends!
Look at that cute little kitty in the background. 😜
Matt, you need to fix the typo in the title for this one. There's an I after Matt.
Good show!
What are the odds we can get Williamson on our show?
The irony in this story is hilarious.
Thanks for streaming, guys!
Thanks for watching!!
