started learning last week. maybe 6 days. could be tighter. not used to playing stuff tuned so low. it seems to sound better on recording than i think it does while playing.
kitty is tuned to drop c and transposed down to a sort of drop f i guess you would call it. took some rearranging but not much. i think other vildh songs would be more unfriendly for 6 string rearrangements.

starting occasional log of some lifts. figured itd be helpful to track consistent progress. i dont like paper august last time i did the larratt pronation lift was march 55lbs one rep max with pain. i think my riser lift was 45lbs with pain. i havent done this lift since march in favor of non armwrestling exercises but am starting to work it back in. only pronation. i dont like the larratt rise...

this song doesn't use as much of the low 8 string as i thought. it still helped to work on tones. doesn't sound that bad for a fake 8 string transposed down to f. my guitar is actually in c standard.

apparently chameleons won the old poll and not humiliative, so here. a few more votes must have come in while i learned hum. im only here for the groove, so no solo for this one. its pretty much the same tapping stuff as humiliative anyway. the chameleon riffs are now the grooviest riffs on this channel.

the polychrome plugin i use added a transpose function recently. ive been making liberal use of it. many plugins have transpose abilities but i feel the polychrome feels and sounds best from the stuff ive used. the rhythms are transposed down 2 steps from c standard to b flat, and the solo automates to 3 steps higher to e flat so i can do this on a six string.

Derangers a possibility I've thought about. I noticed it's listed as 9/10 difficulty on songsterrr, so this petty part of me is mega triggered. It seems a notch harder than dagger at most. 9/10 is an absurd d rider rating. Whenever I find a good time to do more vildhjarta I'll give it a shot.

idk maybe 7 hours. started tuesday after dinner then recorded wednesday before dinner. i was very disappointed. i feel like it shouldnt take that long but ive been playing so little metal compared to before that holding basic power chords kind of hurts again, so i needed more practice runs. also yes ive been playing with some low vildh stuff. not quite there yet but definitely on the dance card. i have alot to do atm so i dont want to give timelines on anything.
