I know this is an old video. I have this same machine. Thought I was having a similar issue with the battery not charging. Found out I was using a battery that didn’t have enough cranking amps. I’m pretty sure those $20 wal mart batteries are 150 cranking amps, and I think you need a minimum of 350 for that machine. All this to say when I switched to a larger battery I haven’t had a starting issue again.

Dont think you need 4x4 for that?

Good job. I bought mine brand new 1986. I don’t weld like I use to so it sat for about 7 years. I got the same problem. Gonna try that with brushes. Pain in the but getting my hands in there and my eyes suck too. Lol. Good job.

Use a charger off of the welder power outlet so it charges every ti e you use it

Remove the flywheel and replace the stator it may be the reason is not charging the battery

the red lens is so you do not disturb other campers or people because of the spectrum being obviously less bright and on a different wavelength.

I tested the brightness of my $119, Streamlight Ultra Stinger with 1100 lumen and it was 40% brighter than this home depot 1500 lumen Defiant nonsense.

Not real 1500 lumen. Can't touch screen real 1000 lumen or higher light output for under $90

the one from Home Depot I did not quite like too much I used it to look inside a garage on a house I manage and it was not too bright

the red light on flashlights are for your natural night vishon

The red light is for allowing you to see while not distorting your night vision. The dim red light won't dialate your pupils so there is no need for your eyes to adjust once the light is turned off in comparasin to a regular bright white lite in which your eyes would have to adjust once turned off. Anyways I have the same light and its great but my go to light is my Duracell 1000 from Costco. It's smaller and lighter only 3C batt used instead of 4D. Also has an adjustable beam like the small one you showed. I was just looking online and they actually have a new 1500lm tribeam 2 pack with the adjustable beam for $50 online.

Great review awesome flashlight I also have the defiant 1500 luman cant be beat for the price there are the brighter lights out there yes but imho anything more than 1500 lumans is overkill truly a seriously bright led flashlight

I believe the Red light is for Astronomy. I've heard that your eyes wont adjust to the color red so you can see all the stars at night.

From what im aware humans are one of the only animals that can see the colour red, so i would assume its something to do with that

this knife is longer my favorite because it just doesn't hold an edge long enough for me. on the other side, it still hasn't rusted and I've tested it many times by not washing the salt water off

i ended up catching 3 20"+ ladyfish and a blusfiesh. then i ended up flouder gigging on about 3-4" of water by the sandy area and gigged 3 flounder. 2x 15" and 14". good eatin!
