What would you say got your acropora to grow I feel I’ve done everything stability over the top lighting form all angles amazing flow feels like I fine tuned my system but my acropora seem to just wither away
Hello, yeah I still lose acros now and then that's just the nature of some, some a re more finicky than others, most of mine die from transport stress they arrive stressed and most pull through but some just never make it. Some it's lighting changes and some it's water conditions some tanks are too clean some not clean enough I say stay consistent and give your tank time to age I didn't add my first coral for just over nine months and acro 5 months after that and still lost plenty after that. I think it also boils down to the species. I can't keep a strawberry shortcake across to save my life😂 but they are one of my favorite but I seem to be able to keep smooth skin acros with little effort🤷🏾 and some indo-pacific I have a SOLID belief that staying consistent till your system is ready it will let you know just keep doing what you're doing we could be doing the exact same thing and still have the same difference in results. Corals will adjust when your system is aged they will just do that...may I ask how old is your tank?
I will say they really started to take off once I added the T5 lighting and even more so when I built my LED/T5 light fixture that absolutely seemed to do the trick with my coral growth they grow souch faster and color up better.
Looking good 👏👌🙌
Thanks so much! 🙏🏽

🙌💯🔥👏
🙌🙏Thank you!
What lights is the tank under?
Relassy k5 300w Array × 2 they are each 24" L × 12" W with 676 individual LEDs simple Amazon lighting 😂 But effective. The setting in this video for whites is 40% blues at 80%
@@THEFRUGALREEFER The best LEDs aren't the most fancy and expensive ones. Simple black boxes from Amazon and Ebay are great and most times will wok much better than those of brand of trend! This is just one more example!! The best application for LEDs is to cover the most surface area of the tank, with a "balanced" white light deal, with a moderate intensity for that right period of time. It looks like you nailed some of the aspects I just wrote. Well done for what it is! Great images. Thanks for sharing!
@@THEFRUGALREEFER great combination I was looking something like this
Breath taking shoot, how did you make it?
Looks good

Great looking tank! Gonna look even better once the sps grows out!
Many many thanks! 🙏🏽 I hope so😁🤞
Great tank!! The evolution is fantastic!! Are you still running the Relassy 300? Do you recommend it?
Yes I still run them but sadly they discontinued that particular model but they have others on Amazon and I absolutely recommend them👌🏽
👌🔥💯✌️
Nice looking tank. You should tell us about it!
Good looking corals 👌💯✌️
Thank you!
So nice 👌😍🤙
Very nice 👌🏻
Very much appreciated 🙏🏼
I need a frag of that 🙂🙃
I can make that happen
Polyp extension can be a mystery sometimes. Glad you are finally getting better extension from your corals. Keep it up.👍🏾
Very true and Thank you ! 🙏🏽
Dude how did you get your timer working? Mine won't turn on at all for my sunrise, sunset, or night time. It'll run the day light just fine but after that it just turns off
So sorry I'm just responding it doesn't have a ramp up and ramp down so I set mine to turn on blues only 1 hour before full spectrum and to go off in reverse but it's still either on or off no slow dimming and that depends on which Gen you have.
Looking good. Keep up the great work 👌🏻
Thank you!👌👌
Video of par results being done tonight will post Friday evening i figure it's better to show than to just say😂👌🏻
Maybe I missed it. Did you check PAR Levels? Curious the amount of PAR these can put out.
Beautiful setup 👌🏻 😍
Thank you abundantly! ❤️😁
