Lol in this video you ask if we do the whole being completely absorbed in one hobby and then jumping from that one to another one. Well I do that constantly except I'm trying to reel myself in a little. I was so into bead weaving I have thousands of dollars in beads literally. Then I tried to do some stained glass work spent a ton of money on that hobby bought a big grinder and all. Then I went to wire jewelry making and I have a ton of stuff for that then I went to crochet and now I'm into knitting and now I'm thinking about opening my own yarn business as well. I blame TH-cam for all these various hobbies! LOL you can learn anything on TH-cam!! I am really enjoying your videos. thank you so much for inspiring me to do my own yarn business! you are awesome girl!!!!!❤

I am a brand new sub and I've been binge watching all your videos! I really love your energy and awesome uniqueness that you bring to the knitting community! And you were asking in this video if we liked to hear about the mechanics of how you dye yarn and I would absolutely love it. I am wanting to start my own business having yarnie things like dyed yarn and stitch markers and all that jazz, but I am very new to dyeing. I've dyed about four batches so far and summer good and there's a little bit of a percentage that turned out not so good. But yes I would like more videos on dyeing yarn because it really helps me. You have taught me so much in what I've watched so far! Thank you so much for your videos and for the awesomeness that you bring to the table!❤😢

Just like you, I started as a thrower and switched to continental. So much faster and less movement! For colorwork, I hold the 2 strands in my left hand BUT when I knit colorwork socks (which I hate making so it rarely happens), I often just drop a strand and pick up the other because I find it too long to arrange the 2 strands in my left hand every 28 sts (I do 56 sts socks).

Just curious… does this work if you are using larger size needles, for example US size 10? Will the stitches on the tubing be smaller and distort the pattern? I really like the simplicity of the cast on. Thank you for demonstrating it so clearly. 😊

I love how one of my current yarn subscriptions has their monthly subscription set up so that you can select fingering or DK and you can get just the 100g or add on a mini skein of a predetermined size and you can change your choice from month to month as long as you update it before the designated billing date.
