Excellent Video!!!! Thank you! I appreciate you giving the details for Fluffy Travelers. It’s extremely helpful for me. Are those balcony chairs as small as they are on the all the other Princess ships? They look slightly wider but it’s hard to tell.
Chris didn't notice that the Sun balcony chairs were that much wider than other Princess ships - but can't be totally sure. Note that if you book a slightly more expensive Premium Deluxe Balcony then you are provided with loungers as well which don't have arms
@@britsonaship Thank you so much for your reply. We looked at the Premium Deluxe Balconies but they were a lot higher cost. We did just book a Sun Princess cruise today. So excited, we sail in early 2025 to the Caribbean.

Where are the cup holders for these seats
The aft decks are a total waste of space. They could have been amazing balconies for the aft penthouse suites. Or at least put seating there for all to enjoy.
Yes, it is a strange design choice and agreed on adding some seating!

Probably only on the renderings - didn't appear in the mockup cabins and not confirmed anywhere else. We shall see!

Does anyone know if in a balcony cabin there are bed that come down from the ceiling or do they have to sleep on the sofa?
We believe there will be beds coming down from the ceiling - when you do a booking for more than 2 people the bed configuration options are displayed as Queen/upper Bed and Twins/upper Bed
Princess has NO idea what true suites look like. These high end suites are a joke compared to other cruise lines. And I’ve booked one!

With the cabana mini suite, does the cabana have a covered ceiling? Can you leave this area open to the room as there is a locking drawer to traditional balcony? Thank you
Yes, the cabana will have a covered ceiling as shown in the rendering at 2:42 in the video. There will be two sets of sliding doors which can both be left open. To be confirmed on which ones can be locked but there will be at least one with standard door handle locking mechanisms.
Finally got rid of the shower curtains! I never understood why they put out new ships in 2021-22 that still had them.

Do any of the regular cabins accommodate 5 people?
I don't believe so. Most of the regular cabins accomodate a maximum of 4 people - there are no family style cabins on Sun Princess and only the Sky Suites are designed for 5.

I saw one of the princess cruise ships for the first time i think it was Regal princess or Royal princess. When it was leaving Brooklyn port and I heard a faint sound of the love boat horn I was on a water taxi going to ikea and boy did she looked magnificent! I just wish the water taxi got closer to her so I could hear the horn better.
