I bought one of these in December. Very pleased with the machine, quick and easy to use. Looks quite stylish, I have the Satin White finish, but I think the designer took an afternoon off when they were working on the water tank. It could have been shaped to fit the back of the machine, which would have reduced the depth by a cm or two, and not look like it had been stuck on as an afterthought.

I have just bought the Lor Barista Sublime machine, the slightly smaller machine without the milk frother. I paid £89.99 in the UK, and it comes with 100 coffee capsules, both regular and XL sizes in different varieties. The coffee alone would retail for around £45-£50, so the bundle was a bargain. You also get £20 worth of coffee credit when you register your machine online, PLUS 30% off your first order when you join the Lor coffee club, with no obligation or subscription required. You just buy capsules as and when you need them. So basically, you get the machine for free. These machines also accept all Nespresso classic capsules (not Vertuo) and third party capsules, like supermarket branded ones. I had a Tassimo machine until now, but there are no third party pods available, and Tassimo have started reducing the amount of pods you get for your money. They are also plastic, with no way of recycling the pods, so not kind to the environment. Lor operate a recycling scheme, as their capsules, and Nespresso capsules are 100% aluminium, and can be recycled. So much better for the environment. They even supply handy recycling bags with each coffee order. You can either have the used capsules collected with your regular rubbish, or you can drop them off at a collection point, the choice is yours. The Lor Barista machines seem to receive good reviews, and you can buy capsules almost everywhere, so it is a good choice for coffee lovers who desire a convenient way of getting their daily hit, or hits. And good if you care about the environment too.
