I bought feng fei fei cds because of the cheap price because I have already purchased almost all Teresa Cds available, 600 cds including 27 japanese lp cd version with a total of 210 japanses, aĺl polgram lp cd version , all life records lp cd version, mandarin, japanese ,hokien, cantonese, english, indonesian songs excluding live concerts total 985 songs,whereas, i only have a total of 260 fong fei fei which is peanuts compared to Teresa collection.I do not drink ,smoke, womanize, socialize, buy 4 d ,toto, my hobby is purchasing cds ,dvd,.Since fong fei fei cds are grossly marked down to dirt cheap prices, it is a waste not to buy her cds.I am not a big fan of her but her songs are still much better than local singers like chen jian bing, wan lei, lin xiao, xia huei, lian wen fu those lousy xin yao singers with no singing technique.It is true that Fong is no match for Teresa teng music achievement , but she is still much better than those lousy singaporean singers.
Totally agree, this album lai lai lai sold badly in 1987 ,a far cry from Teresa teng album sales in japan breaking Japanese singers revord by winning nippon you xin tai siong for 3 consecutive years,her lps released in 1984 , 1985, 1987 sold over 1.5 millions respectively and the lp released in 1986 sold over 2 millions copies.Teresa also appeared in nhk kohaku competition 3 times in 1985 ,1986,1991.If teresa is japanese , she will be eligible to appear on nhk kohaku competition every year based on her album sales.Teresa also broke japanese singers record by winning nippon you xin tai siong for 3 consecutive years from 1984 to 1986.Her 4 lp released from 1984 to 1987, the title songs still remain in the top 40 in japanese ktv after 2 decades of her departure.I am super teresa fan with a collection of 100 tapes ,over 600cds,with mandarin songs ,japanese songs hokien songs ,cantonese songs, english songs,malay songs totalling 985.Fong fei fei and jenny are no match for teresa teng in music achievement, teresa teng is arguably the best mandarin and japanese singer in mandarin and japan pop history.Incidentally ,Fong fei fei cds do not sell well locally before and after her departure.I had bought a lot of her cds at discounted prices ,2 movies dvd for 2 bucks, 1 concert dvd for 5 bucks at the TS Laser in 2012 during the stock clearance, 1 set of 5 cds (sing for you in my next life)at gramophone for 11 bucks in 2012 with a large complimentary poster totally 80 songs.Recently, i have also bought 7 Fong cds totally 154 songs for 21 bucks at bras brasa music cds shop.I only have a total of around 270 fong fei fei songs including 40 hokien songs.I never listen to the entire cds ,I only select some songs that i like because most of her songs are boring.
This song pales in comparison with her songs recorded from 1974 to 1981.This song is a disappointment compared to fong yeh ching, you zian chiu lian, you shi chiu tian.
She wasn't a good singer. Her voice wasn't sweet like Teresa or powerful like Jenny. She and her mother was known for being unscrupulous during the early days and she was lucky Teresa Teng left for Japan and Jenny left for HK so giving her all the opportunity in Taiwan.
