Husband’s account but this video was so helpful in figuring this stitch out!! I’d tried to do cables like these before but it finally makes sense to me with you showing and explaining it! Thank you!
I've watched several videos on the cable stitch and this is the first video I can actually fallow. I've only been crocheting for a year and this makes it easy to keep track of. Thank you!
Very nice video. Easy to follow. Will try this for a scarf:)
Loved this pattern. The video paired with the written pattern made this so easy to do even for a person who is left handed and does everything let to right versus right to left. This pattern was a breeze and I would love to try your diamond stocking pattern next. ❤
Please for future videos turn the background music down some please ma’am.
Não partilhou como fazer o floco de neve 😢
You can find the full pattern (including snowflake) linked in the description box.
When you're done with this pattern you end up with 3 scalloped edges. Do you add a border along the starting edge to make it match and if so, what border do you use? The same tulip stitch (2 dc, ch 2, 1 sc all in same stitch) or something else?
I haven't tried it. I usually just leave it as is. Let me know if it works out!
Howard do i get the snowfake Patterson?
The link to each pattern is in the description box.
You are really going about it the hard way.
Thanks for watching, but I'm not sure what you mean.
Great video but the music is really not needed.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for your feedback on the music.
I watched another instructor doing the sedge stitch and he stitched 1 single, 1 hdc, and 1 dc.
There's a few differnet variations of this stitch. I like this one because it makes it more textured.
You successfully tricked me into watching 37 minutes of a video only to find out you completely skip how to do the patterned part. Then after reading your “free” pattern all the way through I find out you left the information out of that too. It’s a well explained video otherwise, I just wish you were more straightforward from the start. I would have bought your pattern but because of this sales tactic I don’t trust you enough to give you money. I hope this feedback helps you sell better in the future, I am coming from a good place.
As stated in the description box, this is video is not a substitute for the written pattern. It is meant to walk you through the more difficult parts like the short row heal and getting started working the fair isle design. I assure you this was not a "sales tactic" as the patterns for both stockings, including the charts, are available to view for free on my website.
I'm glad I didn't watch. Thx for the heads up
Smh the whole reason I watch this video was to learn how to do the Fair Isle.
Smh- its free on the website. Plenty of fairisle how to vids on yt. Stop being lazy and go learn.
You can download the chart pattern. Its actually very straightforward
You move so fast 😅
A very good tutorial, which comes with the written pattern and the diagram ! Really cool ! I'm crocheting this and actually, as i'm a beginner, i have so much trouble with the two yarns rolling and rolling on each other XD This gives me occasions to stop the work and watch patiently for the snowflake to appear ! :) Enjoying and challeging for me, exactly what i need to progess ! Thank you very much !
Wonderful! I'm so glad you are enjoying this project.
This was super easy to make! It taught how to use a grid for designs and I love that! Thanks for this 😊
You are so welcome!
video starts at 9:50
such a clear explanation! I finally understand, thank you 🫶
Thank you for sharing your beautiful work.
How many inches from toe point to start of heel is yours?
Thank you!!
This is gorgeous!!! Thank you, I'm putting this on the top of my to do list!!❣️
You are so welcome!
Love this stitch! I alternatively did hdc rather than sc row for less yarn eater. Very happy with the drape and texture. Thanks
I read through the description by another designer, and it was so confusing. Thanks for posting the video. You made it so easy I spent over an hour trying to understand and figure out what the written instructions.
Wow … this was actually as easy as I thought … Thanks!
Great pattern…love that you do all fp crochets…instructions were very clear. Appreciate it.
You missed a yo on your 4th fpdt crochet…
Hi
😮ohhhhhhhhh my.
A nice pattern but a tutorial that neither shows the beginning nor shows in an apropiate way how to crochet it. Too fast, no explanation. Thumb down.....
One important thing to note, is that this video is not a substitute for the written chart or pattern and it assumes knowledge of how to work the c2c stitch. You might find this video about the joinging technique more helpful: th-cam.com/video/wV0YX1wHU7I/w-d-xo.htmlsi=OAVAPgWQbDkcL3EU . The videos for this crochet along were some of my first so there was a little bit of a learning curve I had to work through.
Is this similar to the Alpine stitch? It is absolutely gorgeous and looks like it would make a gorgeous and cozy blanket or pullover or cardigan! Maybe even a hat and scarf set. I love to hear the puppy walking around, no apologies necessary.
Yes it is very similar to the Alpine stitch, his one uses clusters instead though.
Sorry if I have missed it, but is it possible to tell What the pattern is multiple Of? If I want to make it wider. Love from 🇳🇴😇🌻
Absolutely love it, Greetz from Spain ❤
I don't see a subscribe button 😢
Love this beautiful stitch ❤ So happy I found your channel! Thank you for sharing this great pattern ❤
Very nicely explained. Thank you .
You started square No: 1, before you came on this video : This first ingredient IS THE MOST IMPORTANT INFORMATION: OF THE WHOLE PROJECT: YET YOU CHOSE NOT TO SHOW US HOW YOU STARTED IT: WHY DID YOU MAKE THE VIDEO : I'M VERY DISAPPOINTED. I'M NOT AS ARTISTIC AS YOU, I NEED PEOPLE LIKE YOU TO RELY ON:
Warning! For anyone wanting to do this as a beginner!! She cuts parts and doesn’t show the whole process. You will be left with no idea what to do next.
Thank you! I’ll pass on my subscription and trying to make it!
@@SoNewOrleans1If you find a good video let me know. I still have my yarn from last Christmas 😂😂
Tell me you don’t read or pay attention to what is said in the video without telling me
Would a single crochet together work?
I loved this ! Thank you so much for explaining everything. You went slow enough so I could see what you was doing ?
You stopped showing how to make a designs after the second row of the green color, it's annoying!!!!
Are you talking about how she skips the design around minute 13:16? If you skip ahead she shows how to use her graphs on the website so you can do any design!
I forced my friend to make them for me XDXD
is there a sock pattern worked similarly like this that you know of?
Im making a throw blanket with this stitch and confused on how the starting row will get the scalloped look? Or will only 3 out of 4 sides be scalloped?
Just the three out of four. Still makes a beautiful blanket.
If. you do 3 dc's instead of 2 you get the scalloped look on the sides too.
Hi, I am new to your channel! I found a pattern out there on the internet made by you, the Macinack Beanie (probably spelled wrong). I love love love this hat but I am having a hard time understanding step 5 in the gorgeous beanie. I was wondering if you had a video that could help. This one is cables so it’s similar but not. Oh I hope you can help. Thank you 😊
Love how easy you made it to understand. I only started crocheting a couple of weeks now and this made perfect sense
Can you do a tutorial on how to do the show fake am stuck
Thank you, love this pattern. First time I've tried this type of "Fair Isle" colour work in crochet and found it easier than I expected. Going to make these for my grandchildren ❤️
You didn't share how to do the design....that's why I decided to unsubscribe😔
Your tutorial saved me so much trouble!! I just finished my first crochet project (a blanket) and soon realized that it was shorter than I expected, so I needed to add some length to it, but I did not know how to do that; all the previous videos I watched were either more complicated techniques for adding length or they began with the "chain 6 start" which I didn't need. I'm so, so glad I found your video!!! It was so easy to follow! Thank you so much!
You do not taught how to do the star step by step.😢
