I Speedrun BotW and TotK
BotW Any% 23:32
Barely clutched out a small PB. This one is definitely a much nicer comparison, because the first three splits aren't insane anymore. Had bad RNG with fish and calamity, but looking forward to the 23:2X and beyond!

Lost a lot of time on cryo but other than that plateau was insane. WR was still possible by the time I got to calamity but phase 1 was terrible and I didn't get instant laser. Still a lot of room for improvement.

Really good plateau aside from the time loss on mag. Endgame was very solid, but definitely not perfect because I needed the razorshroom, lost some time on waterblight, among other small mistakes. Not done yet, I want to grind for a low 23.

The fourth sub 24! Not what I expected from this run because of the very sloppy early game but overall a solid run nonetheless. I've been interested in grinding All Dungeons for a while now, and this seems like a fitting time to take a break from Any%.

Finally got the sub 40! Super solid run with pretty average RNG and a clutch ending. This time can definitely be improved a little bit further but I am going to leave it at this for now. I'm going to do a huge BotW grind now, so expect to see some top BotW times in not too long.

I had a chance of sub 40 going into Demon Dragon in this run but it died when Zelda trolled me and put me in the wrong spot. Overall pretty decent but also had bad RNG so I'm excited to keep on improving this time until it gets under 40 minutes.

Sub 40 is getting super close! Only a few mistakes, mostly at the end, but I know I can still do way better.

My first PB on digital! This run was going to be the 40:1x had I not lost 10 seconds on the Army. Right now, my goal is to get a 40:1x so I will be grinding for that, and once I get it I may move on to another category!

Pretty good, but still so much room for improvement. Many time losses such as missing cog skip, and getting a fake clip on the Ganondorf split. Although I had perfect daruk RNG, I still think that I can bring this time down much further with cleaner execution and hopefully digital loads times.

I am very happy with this run. I have been grinding this category non-stop for the last 7 months, and I don't feel like watching the intro cutscene every single run, or losing runs to daruk RNG anymore, so I feel like I will take a break for now, and start running Breath of the Wild. I might have some motivation to come back to TotK if someone beats this time, or if a new ~30 second time save g...

Why don’t you mention it is an amiibo run in the title? It is legit to use them, no problem with that, but for people who wants to see a run without it, it is quite deceptive
Where can I find an explanation/breakdown of all the tricks in this run? Out of curiosity tho, I'm not looking to run myself

Anyone knows why ganondorf died in 3 flurrys?
This is because of a glitch known as Zuggle, where we permanently stick weapons to Link’s hand. This glitch also stacks the damage of the weapons, which is what killed Gdorf so quickly. In the Any% route, they Zuggle Royal Halberds 4 times and fuse a black boss Boko horn, from the fact that royal weapons do twice as much damage with a flurry rush than not doing a flurry rush.

I like how when Zelda turns up Demon Dragon just waits for you to pull the Master Sword before fighting you
I've just finished TOTK after more than 110 hours of play over a period of just over 1 year, and the first thing I'm doing after that, because I've been holding back all this time to avoid spoiling myself! It's to come and watch the WR in any%! GG! It's really impressive this level of play!
