"Mitch sat here and told how great he pitched, so we knew that was a lie. There was a lot of lying in this room."
what year was this filmed
Titan
boring
I'm going to make a comedy movie about the early 1990's Phillies- who would watch it ?
Mitch Williams pitcher but not a pitcher just threw the ball hard and didn’t know where it was going to go 😅
beautiful
1985-1993 are my Phillies ❤ I loved Schmidt, Carlton, Hayes, Kruk, Daulton, Dykstra, and Mulholland were my favorites
Kruk is the best!
"We didn't lift weights, we lifted.....pitchers of beer." LOL
I didn’t know Garth brooks played baseball. Where them bodies
Joe Carter
Wish broadcasts would be like this again.... this one's informative, professional and funny all at once without being all too goofy
Kruk has probably never used TH-cam but videos like this are why it exists.
You are correct given his kids have to help him with anything technically related
"The training room, where games are won and lost." Yep
Goat
Did they all take taxis home? Very cool stuff. World Series baby!
How John buries Mitch Williams is legendary.
I know he says it jest, but geez John.
That's the John Kruk I grew up knowing.
kruk's a comedian lol
TH-cam Gold
Those 93 Phillies won because of camaraderie. It was like a big frat house.
The Kruk! One of my favorite players.

Johnny Boy is one of the greatest men to ever live. Nice guy. Career .300 hitter.
Kruk must have been an unusual or even rare case of a hitter who brought his career batting average UP to 300 by hitting well over 300 in his final years (three years in his case). When I was a kid, I collected baseball cards and noticed a pattern of great hitters' career averages ending up falling below 300 by having a last few years of pretty low sub 300 batting averages -- like Micky Mantle and Al Kaline. I loved having the LAST card for a player when retiring rather than a rookie card because I could see the whole career, preferably with one team. Hey, I was just a little kid who loved baseball cards. (I just checked, and Pete Rose did manage to keep his career average just over 300 even though hitting around 260 or 265 his last five years. So at least that worked out for him.)

2:26 4:04 he keeps grilling mitch williams hahahahaha
You and I both know Williams deserves it. Ha! I love Kruk'er.
@@alanw505 LOL kruk is the best. im glad you commented so i can revisit this gem. cant believe its been 2 years already since that comment
Back in the mid-90s I'd take my nephews down to Veterans Stadium and get autographs from the Phillies. John Kruk was always a fan favorite.
@@alanw505 in 95 or 96 my dad got a ton of tickets for the indians season. we went to so many games we got bored of it. but i remember i think they were playing the twins one day and the stadium was pretty empty and 2 of the twins were warming up near the seats. so me and my dad went and asked if they could autograph my tickets and some lady got up and started yelling at me. i was about 14 yrs old. she kept saying this section is for family members only get out of here!! yet there was every single seat empty around her. the guys signed my ticket and we walked away from that mad woman. i also got i think it was jose mesas towel while he was in the bullpen he didnt use it but it had some dirt on it and when i waved to him he threw me the towel. its a official indians one it was really rad. i stopped watching sports after the 90s.
@@alanw505 also btw i use to collect kruk cars anytime i saw them at the flea market lol. he was always on the good special cards. i think they made a whole set with him and someone else
Haha "Now you guys aren't allowed in here... but nobody's here so come on!" Somehow that wraps up the 1993 Phillies perfectly
Great video.
I cannot find a version of this race that wasn't recorded on a dog turd
Imagine how good Kruk would've been if he would've taken care of himself
He’s not an athlete sir.
Glad you're back for the time being.
wow, the old fs1
If you need help uploading that ARCA race that keeps getting blocked, contact Dave W or racefan84 for help. They deal with thos ridiculous copyright blocks all the time
would they be able to help me? I have the second 2003 Pocono ARCA race and that keeps happening
Most definitely. They are constantly forced to reupload races (cutting whole chunks of races out) just to have a version of the race that is compliant with TH-cam's silly copyright restrictions. Is TH-cam providing you with time stamps of what was blocked or just a blanket blocking?
@@NascarNixon completely blocked once I log out
I assume music in the prerace or a commercial that aired got you dinged. Edit the race to where it starts on the pace laps and cut out the ad breaks,
We can fix it.
Sadly, he really drove off into the sunset...I made a memorial clip for him
Thanks for putting this up
3:06 john kruk this is your nightmare 3:18 well John Kruk it's take it or leave it and you *HAVE* to take it

Missing the first 40 laps or so.
Where's part 2?
Oh my gosh I remember this! I was in our basement on Skype with my friends and I was scared as heck! But the weird thing was, that my phone never gave the warning until March. :T
What's the name of the Elvis song in the beginning of the race?
Battle Hymn of the Republic.
These commercials were hilarious. Brings back memories of my childhood.
David C 토요타 하이랜더 10기통 디젤 엔진
and the part 1??????
Ken Squier: Black cars; black cars; black cars! Is there no hope? Sorry, Ken; unfortunately, at that time, there really was no hope, at least not much for much of anyone. In the mid 1990s, Dale Earnhardt, Ernie Irvan, and Rusty Wallace pretty much dominated NASCAR racing, though Earnhardt was the only one of the three to reel off a Winston (Now Sprint) Cup championship during that decade, winning four (1990-91, and 1993-94) after winning his first three in the 1980s (1980, 1986-87). Out of the other two, Rusty was the only other one to win a championship (1989). The closest Ernie came to winning a championship came in 1994 until he crashed at Michigan during a qualifying run and nearly died. BTW, the guy who sang "The Battle Hymn of The Republic" sounded just like Elvis.
I know it wasn't the most exciting race up too that point, but would you have part 1 of this race?
