I wanted to pass along how you can use free paper to make patterns. I am an Amazon Queen. I order at least once a week. I save all of the brown packing paper and I iron it, roll it up and save. I have not purchased pattern paper in over two years.

use a little scrap under needle when you start sewing, keep fabric from being pulled in to the plate.

Love the purple plaid fabric. You’ve inspired me to get out a pair of half finished PJ trousers that I need to finish. Thanks for the tip to keep the pattern pieces with the cut out fabric, and the one to attach the elastic to the waistband before you start threading it through 🧡

Pressing the fold line with half each of vinegar and water in a spray bottle will often remove the crease. I also use it when pressing any kind of fabric tape to make the glue adhere better.

I always reduce the amount of rice crispies to only 2 1/2 or 3 cups. Then I add in a big spoonful of organic almond butter which makes them completely amazing!

I love all your fresh ingredients and especially the rough chopped onions. And you are using my absolute favorite crockpot! This shape is perfect perfect when I make a dish that I'm taking to friends or to a party. ♥️

Trying to sew a bonnet here in PA the night before my daughter needed it for a Church activity. Never used a pattern before and couldn't make sense of most of the vague instructions on the pattern. To keep your fabric from getting stuck, just slide a small scrap piece of fabric under your needle and start stitching. When you get to the edge, stitch a couple stitches past and slide your block under the foot. Keeps your block from hetting stuck
