Hey! The video is good quality especially for an early start! I know there were a couple stumbles but you spoke very clearly and each point came across. I'm not recommending a script, but I would recommend identifying a few key cards ahead of time, especially if it's a unique card or has a unique interaction with the commander. For example Scryb ranger is one I've never seen before, but is a perfect fit as Loot mitigates its high activation cost (And landfall cards turn that into upside) and leads powerful double activation rounds. As for the deck itself, I don't like it, at least as far as video content goes. $666 for a landfall deck so that it doesn't need to run lands? Why? Your average non forest card is approaching $10. I don't need to be told strong cards are strong. If you want to upgrade a cool deck great, but as a viewer tell me why it's a cool deck and why Loot is worth exploring. If you do want to show off expensive cardboard and I have these pieces already, why is Loot a good home for them?

agree that SL should be limited/collectible products than print to demand. WOTC very likely signed this Marvel deal down to the number of prints a year ago...and there are likely more factors that go into the decision of prints than just forecasting demand. Also, WOTC very likely contracted out management of the secret lair website. But that's still not an excuse for such terrible design/execution. TBH, people might not like to hear this, but outside of the queuing exploit, it was a successful release event. WOTC sold out in record time, made the news, made the $$ they forecasted to make, and generated fomo. people can proxy these cards. sure. and these/future hype lair sets will still sell out no problem. The whole TCG market is evolving and this is just the reality for those of us who choose to participate. There are more important things in life than cards...people need to get over it when things don't go their way here...its just a hobby 😃

Should limit the number of bonus cards to 4 per account. Some people got over a dozen in an order.

My biggest thing with play boosters is that they really impacted sealed. Some people can get up to 3 rares from 1 play boosters and just take over sealed.

Thrasios/Tevish is 1 of my 2 cedh brews I've been working on for a long time as well (no where near as blinged out as yours), but I gotta ask since you stressed it's built for 1v1 cedh... how does it perform in a 4 player pod with all that extra control for tempo plays???

I want the legendary elf, dionus I think?, for my Lathril commander deck. Will probably just buy a single but these foundations packs look cool for beginners introduction type stuff.

The fact that you get a textured and anime in pretty much every box is idootic. There are some decent new cards in this set but if they keep it as the "Foundation" of standard then every card in this set will be reprinted, A LOT over the next few years. Making the "Chase" cards appear in EVERY collector box is an odd choice. I will buy a few of the new Eldrazi for cheap in a few months and probably never open a pack of this set.

I hate foil cards. I think because they tend to curl they are of poor quality, which is why I prefer non-foil cards. I always prefer nonfoils even if they are buyable at the same price. Saves a lot of money too.

lol I was JUST about to sit down and build bruse tarl + Thrasios when this video was recommended to me. Man I always loved playing tevesh, but he got shafted kinda hard by the bans. Maybe I'll give him another go sometime. And also, love the foiled out deck, it's kinda rare to see, usually I'm the only one in my lgs to do that shit lmao. Ajani's Pridemate is super viable in modern and legacy. I have an Orzhov Counter deck that I had in arena and now in paper that absolutely wrecks everything.
