Is there any way to make one I can move between my guitars without any residue or anything on the guitar if it's off?

I replaced my KHAZ preamp and Passive EMGs built for Spector/ Kramer/Korea this weekend. My problem started with the Korean built electronics were of a low quality and the blend (active balance control) adjust pot was failing for both signal and mechanical issues. For my problems it took both (Lonnie West, LHZ Pre-amp Shop) and Alison Turner (EMG) to help me. In my naiveté, I thought just fix the KHAZ board and replace the pot. Done! Not at all what happened of course. What did work was talking to Alison and having an email conversation with Lonnie to determine my actions. My solution was a custom order, which I was given a discount on from EMG, for an Active PJX set with a new blend pot, part number #ABCX, and the PJX set. Then order the LHZ Preamp from Lonnie. Between the drawing from Lonnie and EMG the install was pretty easy. What was difficult or slowed me down… I did build up the PJX set with the pre-amp first. Before tearing out the old, limping electronics, I wanted to test the new configuration. Getting the KHAZ board in one piece was a challenge. The pot fasteners are holding the board in, but my board was wedged into the cavity really tight. Thought I might break the board or a pot getting it out. Confirming the pin-out of the original plug. I tested with one of the supplied phono plug by tapping on the pickups with a metal probe (screwdriver). The pin-out of the switchcraft plug is different from EMG’s and Lonnie’s plug. The colors were not the same on mine. Lonnie has a video to watch. Final conclusion: My Kramer- 80s era Spector sounds like the USA built Spectors with USA quality electronics installed. I am very happy now. I spent >$500 to make my Spector equal to what I think Spector is selling currently. Thanks to EMG and LHZ for making my old guitar new again.

Been looking for one of these (with mustache bridge). sounds absolutely awesome! I’ve heard these guitars have a problem with 12 string tension warping the soundhole around bridge?

Hey @AgingEngineer. I'm in Mexico City and order a Spector Skyler Accord model. I want to change the preamp for the LHZ-03 and the Barts pickups for the EMG 40DC. I heard what you said in the video regarding the Spector bases for the potentiometer so I guess if I order my LHZ-03 from ebay that won't be a problem anymore right? Or should I consider anything else before ordering it? Any other advice you can give I'll appreciate it. It's the first time I am going to modify my bass, probably I'll do it with a luthier but just want to know if I need to conaider anything else or if it would be as easy as ordering the new preamp and pickups, take the ones from the bass and just put in the new ones...

Just amazing. Ive been watching your journey on Talkbass and its great to hear the difference here. I need one or three of these. Im wondering if there's a way to put one in the NS Design CR5 with EMG-X and Piezo. If not, then an LHZ pedal is in the future

If it helps, I checked Reddit b4 finding you on TH-cam, & there are too many "woke" folks there who complained that it's "too salty," "not vegan," "I use pickle spice - it's better," etc. I can't understand how Anyone can't like this stuff! It's like folks who hate candy corn! What's wrong w/these people?? (I can understand how Jesus felt!) :-)

Hi! 57-y/o guy here, & you are So Right about this stuff! it's from Shangri-La! I'd asked the young gal at Regal Theatres for some some 20 yrs ago & she friggin' GAVE me a full container (she must've been new), & it was like I'd won the lottery! i gave HER the $2 I thought it was (or whatever I paid her). Now I feel like I gypped her (but it kinda wasn't hers to give away, ya know?). But I was really nice about it, so she was, too. I saw it on Amazon (which didn't exist then), & they hung the moon as far as I'm concerned. What ratio of oil to the salt do you use? Does it matter which oil you use? Many thanks for any info you could provide to save me from bad experiments! Thank you again! :-)

I found your channel while researching parts for my NS-2A KHaz circuit. One mechanically failing pot. After watching your comparison of the HazLab vs KHaz I will check the other components for tolerances. This is more funny to me since the company I have worked for as a semiconductor engineer for 40 years now owns National Semiconductor. I've been in the factory which produced the LF442, which now makes me a little sad. But to your viewers, modern operational amplifiers like this little jfet are not tube amplifiers at all. They are made to amplify the original input exactly, all imperfections in the reproduction are from either the signal input or final output of the supporting circuit. These chips could just as easily go into your home surround sound system which requires ultra low distortion, which is a similar care-about.

I just watched a video by Glen Hyden titled "Boston guitar tone for the helix" and he 100% nails the rockman tone with the helix. What's ironic is a rockman x100 used costs as much as a used helix and The helix will do a hell of a lot more!😂 So it's a win-win For me🤘
