Judgment Day, also known as the Day of Judgment, is a concept found in many religious traditions, including Christianity, Islam, and some forms of Judaism. It is a future event in which a divine or supernatural entity, often referred to as God, Allah, or a similar name, will judge the actions, beliefs, and moral conduct of individuals.

Spiritism has a different view on it. There is no Judgement Day, everyday we are being "judged" by our own conscience and any deviation from God's Law, or the Natural Law, will create consequences for us

According to Spiritism there is no Judgement Day. Your father is back in the spiritual world, without his physical body but with his spiritual body. He continues his evolutionary journey, and can receive the prayers and thoughts of his loved ones, that help him on his path. If he believes that he will be waiting for Judgement Day there will be friendly spirits trying to help him and clarify his doubts and questions, wherever he finds himself. Spiritism interpret the meaning of the Scriptures, it does not follow them in the literal sense.@@Critic-qn3hg

I think it makes sense for sure. The message is that we need to explore, to seek for different alternatives outside the comfort of our habits. But that comes with dangers and obstacles. The need to learn and adapt is also in the message in my opinion.

I haven’t heard any complains from the participants on the meetings. I will ask again and pay attention, as I’m the one posting the recordings on TH-cam.

Our mediumship meetings are closed to the general public, because following Kardec's instructions in The Mediums' Book, first we need to educate our mediumship, learn how to control it and how to manage it. So we invite all candidates to participate in our studies of Mediumship, that happens every Thursday on the 2nd. part of our studies. After attending our classes on a regular basis and learning about mediumship, then we can extend an invitation to participate in the mediumship meeting. But it's important to understand that our mediumship meetings are of assistance to suffering spirits, not to receive messages from our loved ones. Also, we do not invoke any spirit. The spirits who communicate come spontaneously, under the direction of our spiritual benefactors.

@@SpiritistGroupofNewYork Thank you so much for your reply. I would love to study mediumship with your group when the time permits and hopefully become a member of the spirits society. I did come to your study group a few times back in 2009. I used to also study with inner enlightenment spiritist society group on Sundays and on Tuesdays. But after my husband's illness sadly I had to stop attending the lectures. I have all of Allen Kardecs books, the gospel according to Spiritism, the spirits book, the mediums book, heaven and hell, and some of Chico Xavier's books as well. But I have a question, I understand that you said that the mediums meeting is only to help the suffering spirits, which is spirit rescue work, and that is very good. I would love to learn how to do spirit rescue work. But what is the reason that you do not relay spirit messages from loved ones, or invoke spirits, especially if one of your members or participants are in dire need of it ? I believe also that it should be apart of therapy in " fraternal counseling " for those who really need it for peace of mind, and also for closure which is most needed for the suffer to move on with their life.

It is not that we do not relay spirit messages, if we receive any we would pass it to the person to whom it is addressed to. But it's not the focus of our work, and we know the risks of invoking spirits, as deceiving ones can pose as the ones we are looking for and sometimes it is not easy to differentiate it. But we receive consoling messages from our mentors frequently, and those are read in public if we think they are helpful.

The fact that you have not been able to communicate with him does not mean he is not around. There are several impediments that can prevent our loved ones to communicate with us. They may find themselves in difficult situations in the spiritual world, or it may be difficult to find a trustworthy intermediary (medium). They have to go on with their lives, and sometimes the separation is necessary for everyone involved. Keep him in your prayers and be patient. And be sure that you will meet him back there when it's your time to return to the spiritual world. Try to learn more in the Spiritist books, there is a lot of information about life in the spiritual world.

What Kardec said is that everybody is a medium. But only some have a more ostensive ability to enter into communications with the spirits, they are what everybody calls Mediums. They can receive and transmit instructions from the Spirits through their mediumship, while the rest of us cannot.
