WOW - Women of the World is a global movement celebrating women and girls, taking a frank look at the obstacles they face. Festivals take place around the world, including on the International Women's Day weekend in March in London.
WOW was launched by Jude Kelly CBE at Southbank Centre London in 2010. In 2018 Jude founded The WOW Foundation, a UK based charity, to run the festivals and other WOW events across the globe. WOW Festivals are the biggest, most comprehensive and most significant festivals dedicated to presenting work by women and promoting equality for women and girls.

Celebrating four years of the WOW Young Leaders Directory
In 2020, WOW introduced the Young Leaders Directory, a platform connecting young women and non-binary activists from around the world to drive change. 🌍✨ Since its launch, 149 young leaders have joined this global network, advocating for a gender-equal world.
This October, we’re proud to highlight their stories and achievements, celebrating their impactful work and inspiring others to join the movement for equality 🌟
