This song may be six years old, but a couple of years ago Band-Maid played this song in the Netflix movie "Kate". When I first heard this, I can't tell you how many times I repeated it. I know that many of those times, I would repeat the last minute of it. Maybe I was trying to figure out what their secret was. This song is in my top 20 Band-Maid songs.

This song (along with Blooming) was featured in the Netflix movie, Kate, which is where I discovered Band-Maid. At that point, I literally just stopped the movie, skipped back so I could Shazam the song and then listened to it three or four times in a row on Spotify before getting back to the movie. After the movie was over I listened to it another three times. 😋

Aside from the incredible music and playing, the way Miku and Saiki have shorten and twisted her lyrics to fit Kanami's writing is pure genius. The cadence, syncopation and soulful expression, like in Choose Me, is rare and kinda old-school-rock exceptional. It feels a bit like scat and fits perfectly to the vibe of the music - one reason why some of us don't care if we can't understand most the lyrics. Thx, Chris!
