This works but could be better The only issue is you don’t have a live reading while the 7psi is holding or dropping PSI Because your only using the press on gauge every time You use the gauge your gonna loose pressure this way Your pressure gauge needs to be built in after~> the valve stem so you can see it hold or drop

I had a KMX 200 , water cooled, I prefer the KDX , but Yamaha DTR is better I had 4 , and a Honda MTX which was the worst

Never use red rtv on a 2 stroke engine the gas will eat it away and leak eventually. Just letting you know. Use Yamaha bond #4 or get a gas friendly gasket maker

This happened to my 1994 Yamaha wr 250z I tried penetrating oil, heat, impacting left, and right I mean for hours it was just getting ridiculous so I decided to get a big punch and just beat on it both ways back-and-forth until finally after almost 2 weeks of beating on that fucker after work everyday for an hour or so I’m sure my neighbors were trippin🤣but it literally just shot 3/4 of the way out so I grabbed it laid on the ground, put both feet on the bike and pulled as hard as I could just be defeated again🥲🤣 so once again, I hit it with a punch, but this time for only three days or so and $100 in penetrating oil the POS came out by that time. I just let it sit all winter and I’m barely just getting back to it now.🙄.😮‍💨

Have you ever had a weak stator that passed all the electrical tests in the manual just fine? My 01 Blaster will start, idle, and rev in neutral perfectly, but won't go faster than 2MPH in gear. Zero power. Brand new Namura top end, great compression. The carburetor is clean enough to eat off of, inside & out. The teens I bought the not-running quad from said all it needed was a stator to run again, so I bought the Moose Racing rebuild kit and installed those 3 new coils. The engine wouldn't even start. I reinstalled the original Yamaha pick-up coil (smallest one), and the engine fired right up. If I still have problems I'm going to get a known-good OEM stator & replace the one that has the 2 new Moose coils on it. When I test for spark, it looks bright blue & really strong. I've gone through the entire quad, it should run amazing by now. If this isn't a stator issue, I don't know what I'm missing. It's got a new NGK spark plug and Yamaha ignition coil.

How was your engine running before you found the leak, my blaster seems to rev up on its own I already cleaned out the carb and has tors delete and I’m thinking it’s an air leak

Ive never heard of using automatic transmission fluid man. Usually your suppose to use 10w40 wet clutch motorcycle oil.

I have just received this same head in the post today ,after looking it over ,I,m at a loss as to how the centre part is not going to fall into the cylindar ,its a snug fit but how do,s it work ,i,m putting it on a 80cc ,my question is how do,s it work ? it move up and down freely in the head body is that right it too has the small 9mm spark hole

Nice bike! I have the exact same bike I am currently restoring. This baby pulls front wheel up 1st through 3rd gear and I'm 250lbs! Massive power band on these things from 3500rpm to 9000.. I let my wife ride it and it scared the shite out of her. Lol...
