They may well have done. I'm not familiar with their history but my buddy is a full-patched member, as was the guy who came with him to collect the bike when he bought it. I conclude from that that there is a northern chapter once more.

I quite like Satriani, but he can get a bit noodly at times. Did you like "Rumble Up The Jungle" and Blues By Numbers" by the Keno Kings? They were a local pub band.

I had nothing to do with the organisation of the ride; it was organised by some bikes who also work for the NHS (National Health Service) and I felt it was worthy of support. The entire ride was 60+ miles (excluding trip to start point and trip home from final destination which would have bumped it up to about 140 miles) in fairly dismal weather. I was a proud supporter. 😀

I quite enjoyed making it. 😁

Ah, you refer, of course, to lord fartybathwater. He is of the Penge fartybathwaters and his daddy made his fortune although we don't talk about how he did it in polite company. He went to prep school with Tarquin Cholmondeley-Bumcrack and St John Huffington-Bottomwipe. They all went on to Oxford University, studied girls and got very, very drunk. They're harmless enough but to be avoided as their arrival is generally preceded by' "I say old bean, can you sport a chap a twenty? I'm expecting a cheque in the post on Friday and will give it you back soon as." 😉

My cousin Neil is a pro drummer. I used to go and watch him regularly when he was with Lee Vasey as a three-piece. They did mostly instrumental stuff. I, on the other hand, was quite possibly the world's worst drummer.... 🤣
