Yes we install directly over the checker plate. No need to grind the Checker plate flat.
Does this come cut to size
It is custom cut to suit the individual boat.

Would it not peel off over time being adhering to checkeredplate floor?
When applied in conjunction with adhesive activator it bonds extremely well. Clients are given a care sheet with instructions on how to look after their new Deck Armour to ensure long term quality.
Did you sand the checker plate flat before install?
