Aftermath of Hurricane Dorian on Halifax Sea Dome
On September 7th, 2019, Hurricane Dorian ripped through the eastern coast of Canada. The Halifax waterfront area was especially hard hit, and high flood waters and strong winds caused severe damage to several buildings and structures along the boardwalk. One of the boardwalk's most popular features, the Halifax Sea Dome, a 50 ft cinematic dome featuring films unique to Nova Scotia, was an unfortunate casualty of the hurricane. Owners Fiona and Brookes Diamond discuss the challenges they face going forward.
