I'm a 50 something guy who enjoys learning new things, video making being just one, taking the plunge to document what I get up too in my travels, the home workshop and the trials of life.
Being one half of a childless marriage and one third of a podcast that aims to draw awareness of those who are involuntary childless, I play a minor role in the global childless community as a former World Childless Week Ambassador where I tried to bring the male experience to the conversation.
You never know, you might even see my wife from time to time, but being in front of the camera is not her thing.
Its important to be grounded and not to take yourself to seriously and I like to sum myself up with these;
"All the gear but no idea"
"Its about the journey not so much about the destination"
Come along for the ride.

How to get to the New England area from Wollongong
A quick high light video of a quick trip I had to make to the New England area of New South Wales. Both road and drone footage is used, with some local information thrown in.

Great compilation of your travels, definitely a good motivation for getting M3P in the air more often.

Greeting from the Gong.
@@FromTheGong thanks great part of the world we live in.
Breathtaking footage ! And nice to see another Aussie TH-camr !! We live in Sydney but mamma Mooney is originally from the gong so we're down there quite a bit
Thanks for the feedback, still trying to get the hang of creating smooth footage with the drone, but enjoying the challenge. And it helps me also not take where we live for granted too. Hope you have a good weekend.
Great shots !! We need to get on the road more !
Thanks for the feedback and yes there is a lot to see and capture out there in a our great country.
Good job with the drone video.
Thank you, really appreciate the feedback, still learning to get that smooth footage. Got to find the balance between the anxiety of having it in the air and having enough time to get better footage. Hope you have a good day.
Thanks for sharing. Certainly a lot of water!
Thank you for your interesting and watching the video, it is greatly appreciated.
Brilliant capture of the recent floods around Dapto. Great choice in musical score as well. Your a natural it seems of creating short drone videos .
Thank you, I really appreciate the feedback and I love the learning process this is all taking me on.
Great footage. Did you get near Bong Bong rd bridge at all?
Unfortunately no as there was nowhere safe and within the rules to fly in that area. But thanks for watching.
It came up to the intersection at Hamilton St & Bong Bong Rd. There was debris up at the railway crossing, but not sure whether the flood water brought that up to that point or weather it was heavy water run off collecting stuff from the garden around the station and taking it towards the crossing.
Awesome work have you got any video from further down Mullet Creek towards the lake? Cheers
Unfortunately no there wasn't a safe place that's within the rules to fly in that area. But thanks for watching.
Great footage
Thank you much appreciated
That was rather anticlimactic 😅

Amaaazing! What do you do for a living? :)
What a blessing it is to be able to be so open with each other about this difficult topic, and to support each other. It surely is a huge relief for you to know your loved one understands and is there for you. You guys are a beautiful couple.
Thank you Julia, I hope you are well. It was a long road and I'm still learning how to deal and express those so very important emotions. ❤

Men matter too.
Thanks so much for this insightful video. My partner and I are both affected by childlessness and this has helped me understand how our grieving is different but just as real. It's helped me have more empathy for what he is going through.
Thank you, I know I can speak for the other guys and say that it means the world to us that this was able to help you. ❤
