FF6: Item Expansion (in theory as much more as you want)
WIP item expansion. Unlike Pandora's Box and FF6 T-Edition that use quantity high bit to have more items, this project goes beyond by putting item IDs on two bytes instead of one.
WIP shows GBA items added, but the only limit is some calculation reaching 0xFFFF (e.g. item description pointers), but it wouldn't even be a problem with 512 items.
Right now I have field item menu and battle item menu scrolling done using Everything's great FF6 disassembly:
