Hello, I wondered if you'd seen my below comment? We're still interested in using your footage in our show. Let me know if you'd be happy for us to use. Thanks!
Hi, I work on the show Saving Lives at Sea. We're interested in using your drone footage in our upcoming series. Would you be happy for us to use? Thanks!
A very good cause but am puzzled as I thought I heard this current crowdfunding campaign is to run more than one station? Why do you need to run more than one , Radio Caroline
Donated portions from items sold on Ebay.
I learned Radio Broadcasting on this Gates/Harris board back in 1971 and used it in a few radio stations that I worked at!!! WOW... Great Memories!!
Rip Blake god bless you. You liked Fudge mine and Rachel's king Charles spaniel tri-colour please look after him up there I'm sure miss him and God bless you x
The boat that floated my boat ❤
Mike Read? Nice to hear you man
Not Mike Read
Great song 'Eye In The Sky' by the Alan Parsons Project I included in my Caroline Personal Top 15 broadcast in December 2022. The Ross Revenge transmitter was one truly amazing piece of electronics, on full mast from the North Sea the 558 signal could reach into Shropshire easily!
Happily donated. Thank you Caroline for all the great broadcasts from the Ross over the years, not to mention the North weekends that are always the highlight of my months!!
Hey guys I have been telling you about the exponential potential and growth of earth2 fir two years now .virtual reality tours virtua class rooms for l learning and crypto currency type play to earn are the new pirates chaffing against the ropes of the establishment. Your going to miss the boat if you don't jump onto earth2 soon!
The Ross is definitely not the last radioship. In the Waddenzee lies the Jenni Baynton.
True although a lot of the presenters are Essex area and most have worked on Caroline, Andy Brooks being an example who is on Seagull right now
They go out there (historically by hovercraft) and play cricket.
i know its not much, but I've subscribed, liked, commented and shared the video to facebook. all haile the ross revenge!
I've known about the Goodwin Sands for 80 years, and now I've got a real clue as to what they are. :) Thank you very much for posting.
no sighn of any shipwrecks ? whats going on.
Shipwrecks settle in the sand and quickly drop down to the chalk base.
Hi, I'm currently working on some visuals for a music piece about the Goodwin Sands and would like to use this footage if possible? Please let me know if that would be possible. Thank you!
Hi there! I work for UK TV Production company, Back2back. We would like to use this clip in a new show called 'Engineering Repurposed'. Please let me know if you are interested. Many thanks, Izzi
highly dangerpous killer sands , how could anyone possibly like them
School trip we went on, our teacher spoke about them as we passed, saying how treacherous they were. {are}. Wasn't there once a lightship there? {1970?}
@@Oakleaf700 there were 3 at one time, one was tragically lost, we went aground there in thick fog , we managed to get off but it was a close-run thing
@@eifionjones559 I have since googled 'Goodwin Sands' and they really are a Ship's Graveyard. Glad you were OK and were able to escape the treacherous sandbanks around there. The Goodwin Lightship's anchor chain gave way.. only one survivor {Non~ crew}, the bodies of the men never found. Really sad for their Families.
@@Oakleaf700 pretty sure radio caroline has experienced the sands before (both on the mi amigo & the ross revenge)
They're a stunning and rare natural phenomenon, and a link to a time when Great Britain was connected to mainland Europe. I'd love to see them, to experience them and to pay respects to all those who perished. Many of the most beautiful places in the world are dangerous and have taken countless lives.
Hi. Great shots of the sands. Is it possible to use them in a TV programme please. Pease contact janet.mcbride (at ) msptv.co.uk or via Alan at Ross Revenge. Thanks
Great views.....really nice to see it properly....Thank you.
Nice video. What music did you use?
