I was called to try to catch this feral intact jack by the Sheriff, who was asked to shoot him by residents on the next mountain over. Anyone who lives on Ramp Road in Sandstone WV knows his reputation. He regularly raped goats, ponies, pillaged gardens, and attacked people. The fact I could catch him after every cowboy in the state chased him for 7 years is his first miracle. If you're nice to us I tell you how to catch a "stallion" that you can not get close to. He gets jogged daily. Pulls a wagon. Has a 2" thick winter coat. Gets plenty of exercise, and as a hybrid browser can eat a variety of plants and shrubs. His weight has remained at 375 lbs for ten years now. His USET vet has a scale so he is regularly weighed. Hinny mule body type is different. Ever train mules ? I do. I train horses to Olympic levels. Show jumping , three day eventing, WEF championships. Also many steeplechase and flat horses. Most were discarded animals that experts had given up on. Have owned and enjoyed several mules. He's cryotorchid. Only lives here as surgery would be 10k in hospital setting. Less food opportunity, and he'll eat his stall and dry lot. Monte was destined for a bullet. Few extra pounds the least of his problems. And if you think you can do a better job managing his health and happiness I'll pay for shipping.
