Will this work as a driver backrest but still have my king size tour pack on? I know it sounds like a crazy question. I have the Le Pera DLL. It doesn’t have a slot for a backrest but it’s comfortable and i dont want to buy another seat. I also have my king tour pack permanently mounted on my 4 point docking system. Im 6’6 so these are tall guy issues. This is why i dont want to change the seat.

Im also 6'-4" 300lbs. I was thinking 16s would be perfect for my 06 road king but have actually been torn between 14s and the 16s Is it REALLY a big enough difference?

I'm 6' would you recommend 12 or 14". Stupid question, how does this improve handling or turning?

Back in 2005 when I knew nothing about Harley Davidson’s, other than the fact that I wanted one, I got a softail deluxe and put some 18 inch ape hangers on it. I am a 6 foot tall man. And I got the bright idea to ride from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara, and I regretted it. as of now I have a 2023 road glide and I’m definitely going to get the 14 inch factory 47’s. Thank you for this video.

Agreed. I'm also 6-4 and I run 14" Vindikta's on my 2012 Road-Glide. I could have probably gone with 16" but I did'nt want to sacrifice control and maneuverability.

I’m in the market for new bars- between the kst and the factory 47 I’m a female -5’5 with a stock handlebars of 9” on a 22 RG Height? Do a 12 or a 14 ? And, I’m concerned about the width on the factory 47 - on the 14s it’s 37” on the 12 it’s 36 the kst that can be adjusted - thoughts?

Do they all have the chrome strips at the bottom of the pack?
