Ronda: the gem of Andalusia Is it the most scenic non-UNESCO WHS in Spain?
We visited Ronda in 500+ km drive from Madrid near the end of our Jan 2025 trip to Spain. I got thick there with sore throat , getting hypodermic in the tour of Hg mine in Almaden. We were walking in Ronda less than 1 hour , but still were impressed by the location of the city, famous New Bridge built above the deep gorge and vistas open from the bridge and from the rim of the cliff, where Ronda is located. People like to live in beautiful places and therefore No wonder that Ronda was well known from Roman Empire time.

I have seen hotel listings on several websites that are showing rooms available in La Serra Olivetti. Google Maps shows it to he an abandoned building. Can you confirm whether or not La Serra Olivetti is closed? I suspect that these listings are not legit and are creating a squatter situation because the listings show the actual inside of the hotel. The photos of the exterior in the listings are really sketchy because they don't show plain views of the building, as is typical for hotel room listings.
