I find them much easier than the original tank controls (talking as someone who played them old-school when they first came out on ps1 when I was like 8 or 9 y.o). I got used to the modern controls so quickly. The camera is a bit wobbly and glitchy at times, I'll give you that.

It would be so great if you could accept the tea and leave the villa into the menu while Winston says "Thank you very much, Mrs Croft" in a beautiful British accent.

Hence better have multiple saves in case Lara gets softlocked too, or game crashes.

WTF is this comment? They are as playable and fun as they came out. For weaklings there are even modern control options and options to change the controls to your liking. Also a camera, photomode and as you can see in this vid also a little hint options for people who are not so good in games.

The modern graphics are beautiful and the classics are great and charp, too. It is the best Tomb Raider game we got since Crystal took over.

It's a new feature. The butler does not get frozen in the original.

In the original, the butler would eventually come out on his own. Then he left a trail of meat on the ground everywhere. As a kid, for some reason I was always scared of this old man, and this feature made him even more creepy. Because this meant that he was back...

I wonder if he thaws out if you leave the door open. Anyway, I remember that it's important to get him out of the way if you are racing to the secret location in the house.

You couldn't freeze the butler before. Fortunately. It's much nicer when an old man in a huge fridge, panting and clattering dishes, isn't frozen and you know he's out again as soon as you open the door.

I found the original much darker. I can't stand the buggy frame pacing of the old graphics either. WAY to stuttery.

Huh? There's no way the original is darker. Whenever an area was too dark in the remastered, I would just switch to the old version and the whole area would just brighten up, lol.

@@shamusteakiawa Venice under water at the start of the level is literally pitch black until I go to New graphics. Many other places too.

I haven't gotten to Tomb Raider 2 yet, so maybe it's different, but for most of this game most areas I couldn't even see anything in the remastered version, even keys were harder to see.

Yh I still found the complete opposite. Many times I said to myself 'No wonder I couldn't find these treasures before' as the new graphics made them so obvious and highlighted. Also I never once needed to use a flare in TR2 which I constantly had no choice but to with the old graphics. I wonder if its because I have HDR on in Windows? No idea. @@shamusteakiawa
