Every December 26 the Catholic Church celebrates the Feast of St. Stephen the Protomartyr, the First Martyr of the Church who was stoned to death. Years and Centuries later many Christians honor St. Stephen for his holiness and martyrdom and many churches have dedicated it to St. Stephen the Protomartyr including the Parish of St. Stephen the Protomartyr, Ligao City, Albay, Phillipines. In honor to the Patron of Ligao a song was composed by Ma'am Rosie Lladoc, a member of the Parish and is sung in Bikol. May St. Stephen be our role model in the Christian Faith and bring us closer to God. May Godbless us all!
