My Secret to Effortless Language Learning
In this video, I’ll cover both active and passive language learning methods that have helped me become fluent in four languages (and I’m learning a fifth)!
Is learning languages even worth it? Absolutely! Not only do we gain new skills, giving our brains a workout and boosting our endorphins (because that moment when you suddenly understand something you couldn’t before? Pure joy), but we also expand our cultural horizons. This makes us more open to new challenges and connections.
And I haven’t even mentioned that thanks to knowing multiple languages, I can work remotely and earn good money-but I’ll cover that in future videos!
Find me on Instagram @igafried, where I talk about life as an expat!
I also have a Polish-language channel: @igadospatos

Ode to Hangzhou
มุมมอง 1514 หลายเดือนก่อน
I'd like to dedicate this video to Hannah, Ioana, and Alicja, who best know my pain. Hangzhou is more than just a city-it's a feeling, a memory, and a home. I’ve fallen in love with its ancient charm, the warmth of its people, and the peaceful moments spent wandering its paths. I must say goodbye to this city that has shaped me in so many ways. Thank you for all the sunsets, the serenity. Thoug...

European Snack Test! | Chinese vs Polish Trains
มุมมอง 167ปีที่แล้ว
This is the one in which I visit Europe and try to survive, despite the lack of xiaochi 小吃 and reshui 热水. The hardest part about going home from emigration is DEFINITELY admitting to myself that I am on vacation. I think the work in a Chinese corporation broke me in some way. But it's a welcome change of scenery and I finally got to enjoy the REAL snow again! None of that Shanghainese winter dr...
