Thank God for such a great woman of God who played the organ, sang, directed local and state choirs, preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and served in many capacities.

What year was this? Is this Bishop Charles Ellis or the father, Bishop David Ellis?
I think around 1996 his dad the late bishop David Ellis passed away that year and his son bishop Charles H Ellis lll became pastor succeeded his father in September 1996 and the rest is history
E di di di diooooo sha ... i felt this
Now this is a praise break! Holy Ghost filled!! I love to see children/young adults praise God. Now days they either not in church or on their phones. We need to go back , the church has lost its way! Let’s get back to holiness!!!!
Amen
She reminds me of a lady pastor I played the organ for in many revivals. Mother Mary Williams. She has gone to be with the Lord now. But she was a preaching woman and was full of the power of God. She used to sing "Something Within Me.'' She couldn't make it through the song without shouting! LOL! I sure miss her now.
Preach sista!
My God bring back these days. The saints were real.
Omg yes reminds me of my apostolic background where my pastor begins to preach and a wind come in and the holyghost takes over.Order of service is subject to change by the moving of the holyghost.P.A.W is my roots!!
There is something about that building 7 Mile and Schaefer that was where the explosion took place in terms of the history Greater Grace Temple that building was filled with praises Greater Grace Temple never been the same since they moved out in 2002.
I agree wholeheartedly
What a woman of God!!
I like the first part
the late bishop david Ellis (daddy) really did a good job with his son who is now the leader. i wish all pastors who leave their sons the torch could carry on well as bishop charles ellis is. his brother has a church has well and its doing fine. praise the lord
Bishop never did get to preach this day!
Thats how it suppose to be man! Let Go n let God. I got saved in a service like this.
H
Thanks for sharing this. I miss her a lot. The old saints paved the way for us, through songs and prayers said on their knees. They were true prayer warriors.
There's something about the mothers of old who have actually walked with Jesus through many trials that makes them powerful! Miss this woman of God
9:37, she slid down the row!!! love it!
And Marcus Abernathy was throwing down on that organ to.
I remember this service, man I was like a dish rag around there that .I just could not set still. The power of the Holy Ghost was moving for sure.
Oh I bet ,I love services like that
Yes Gawd! 🙌 do I love the lord why lord Yeah!!
How can I get the lyrics to this song. My family many years ago use to sing this song. Sister Francis White and her family from Rixeyville, Virginia could really sing that song.
Yes God
That's Walter Hawkins "I've Got The Victory" beat at 0:33
I thought that was that song I got the victory
Yeesssss I caught that too.
everytime i play this... i feel the anointing ... A way just swept through the place
Amen brother . To me it sounds like the holy spirit drove thru that Church in a semi . Right when the brother to the left start waving his hand before the second go around .
Takes me back to the 90's, being a kid in the chior in Flint, Michigan. The pastor's daughter "SANG" lead on this song & brought the house down! I miss the gospel that gave you goosebumps & made you stump your feet...
You betta sang
lil mamma SANG that song!!!!!!!!
This reminds me of when I was a teen ,when I was at Greater Rose of Sharon singing in the choir .the anointing would fall upon us just like this.
This young lady did indeed sang that song....I would love to hear her now...I hope she is still using the gift that God blessed her with.
Love this praise break!!!!!!
I know I'm a year late, but lol that was funny. And that guy plays in the NFL now, I know him. His name if Chris Jennings, he did play for the Cleveland Browns.
Sing like its 1990
Now That's the shit
For this to been back in the day she "sang" the song. Catch the run starting @ 8:25... kilt it!
That's a FAST shout!
I understand where you are coming from, I'm Pentecostal and I'm use to the jumping, running, shouting, etc. but some churches have different way of praise, a simple thank you Jesus and wave of the hands is praise and worship for some and I am now learning that more. I'm glad we are all serving the same GOD, hallelujah!!! THANK YOU JESUS!
@MsPillsbury I found the orginial it is called walk on talk on by Joe brown. the video is here.
@MsPillsbury I would like to have the lyrics also i used to sing it but i can't remember the whole song, can't remember who made it.
My big Momma used to love this song, I would sing it at church. thanks for the post.
