It was over a few sessions. The prefect branches was about 8 hours I'd guess. Once you gather everything, branches, glorious bars, etc the actual crafting is probably another 6-8 hours. It will depends largely on what you gather yourself.

so sold around 400 oak wood spirts for around 100m and a few hours later bought all the ones needed for around 70m walked away with a net of 30m not to bad

Statwise they may be comparable. Truly I am not sure because they have less going on than pickaxes. It may be as effective, but since B&B can be augmented, it is strictly better.

Thanks, enjoyed that. I was so keen to get started on this today but turned out I needed 3k dust for a crystal hatchet so ended up doing that instead 😅

Whats your full gear setup?

Full magic golem (base outfits are fine), superior rock-crushing scrim, Ring of Whispers, pickaxe of Life and Death, Corehammer, and Legendary Quarrymaster all aid in mining. I also have a Gargoyle and the super mining potion active. These all give you a pretty good chance at one-shotting the debris, I'd say around 70%. Other gear that isn't specific to mining are GOTE, the HSR switch for the kill, EE in inventory, and a Nexus to cast Barricade after the first slam. HP cape is nice if you have it since it enables passive healing. You can pair with Rapid Renewal and no food the fight if you don't make mistakes.
