Franchising can work but it is important to understand what your own goals are before deciding. And then if you do decide to join a franchise picking the right one is important. The right franchise can add value but pick the wrong one and you can easily be left with just a name with no support and true guidance.

And we face the true test...hold fast or expire.

Keep the entire thing together and sell it as shred. Huge waste of time taking it apart because now you are losing all that weight from the plastic and bulbs which could have gone as shred if kept intact. Also, now you need to pay a disposal fee to get rid of that garbage. Ballasts are worth almost nothing as well, no point of trying to get the copper out of them and they sell for LESS than shred if you sell them whole. So you’re essentially doing all this for the piece of extrusion, MLC aluminum and low grade copper insulated wire. Waste of time

Yeah, magnets are great! As a Carpenter, I'd suggest keeping all your magnets and when you have extra make wheelie magnet rakes and sell them to roofers, they are always dropping tire killing nails on the driveway. Those are great to clean up after re roofing a place

Individual speaker drivers, especially from good brand (jbl, celestion, and so on) are worth good money on ebay. Aswell as crossover units, and brand badges.

A fun thing to do with speaker magnets is to put one in the bottom of an empty paper coffee cup, put the lid on, and stick it on the roof of your car by the driver's side. Then you can drive around town and have people honking and pointing at you!
