Anyways, it seems many clowns survived because they are alive in the game and there is a second killer klowns movie that is delayed from motion currently stuck in animation hell, but it seems like they had some of the same clowns in it. And they ain't mutated I checked and there are female clowns glad they ain't mutated. But with that some popcorn also fell from the sky it seems whenever the circus blew up, so there are probably more clowns along with the possible "survivors."

he "should" have a lot of things happen to him if we're thinking about super speed with our real world physics in mind, but what you have to know is that the comics give us an explanation to any scientific fallacies. the speed force protects the flash from things like his bones melting the wind slicing him up ect. the speed force is the explanation to all of that

I don't know about horror as a whole relying on comfort food. it's a wide genre with a ton of subgenres, I will say slashers in particular may be intended a more comfort food feel, but if you look at films like hereditary, the vvitch, the shining, those all intend to be something you've never seen before, there want to scare the shit out of you and most certainly don't want you to be comfortable. thats why horror is my favorite genre, the variety of it all, I can be soothed with a bloody slasher like Halloween one minute, then scared and confused like it follows the next

Kyle gallner is definitely the highlight of the movie, he's good in everything he's in but my favorite is probably beaver from Veronica mars

the one liner is corny for sure but I think it's a much better version of it than in Freddy vs jason. in that movie the line came off way stupider than in the remake, so for that reason I don't think it's all bad

thank you! and yes I agree the dream aspect of the series was done pretty well in dream warriors but quickly turned into a confusing mess with no real way to follow what's happening, obviously this is how dreams actually are but at the end of the day this is a movie. I think the perfect balance between scares and utilizing the dream world has yet to be found, hopefully one day they figure it out though because nightmare is one of my favorite series

But honestly, a kid would not lie about such things, not to mention over ten kids, not to mention one of them was physically harmed. The plot doesn't make any sense really if he didn't do it, which makes the characters feel so odd for thinking midway through that they made things up. It honestly feels a bit victim blame like and adds nothing to the film.

I think the movie did a good job setting up this Freddy was innocent idea, it made the audience question what they knew about Freddy Krueger and plant a seed of doubt in their minds, only to reveal that he was even more of a monster than you expected. plus it adds to the idea of Freddy getting into his victims heads to torment them, quentin was racked with guilt when he thought Fred might be innocent, it drove him mad thinking he might be the reason an innocent man was murdered, only for Freddy to laugh in his face when he learns the truth. it's was a cool idea I think they used it rather well

the editing is a matter of taste but I agree that the jump scares suck ass, the problem is the complaints you have with the dreams is the same problem I have with the dreams of the original, so if you don't like these dream segments, then you can't like the originals dream segments either

@@lifelongfanboy scenes that are dream like in the original. The stairs turning into slime. Freddy's arms stretching out. The dead body being dragged by an unseen being. How Glen dies. Being pulled into the bathtub and it being like being in an ocean. Freddy jumping out from behind a tree that couldn't have possibly hidden him. The random goat running by at the start of the film. Freddy pulling the bones of the mother into the bed. The fire foot steps leading the way to Freddy. It really is a LOT. Also when I say heavily edited I mean there is massive amounts removed from the film. Stuff in the making of and trailers are just not in the film and it feels like there was a lot more to Nancy originally and many scenes end very abruptly suggesting they were cut short. It really feels like massive sections of the film were just removed.

in the remake there is a hall flooded with blood that Nancy falls through and then into a bed underneath (basically toothpaste steps and glens death combined). the fire steps didn't even happen in a dream. the long arms don't use the dream land to its fullest, it's kind of a whatever thing, same with the goat, it doesn't play off the premise it's just slightly unusual, which is my biggest problem with the original. the body bag scene is in the remake, and the fading in and out of the real world and the dream world in the drug store is undeniably a cool image. all the cool dreams aspects of the original are redone in the remake, minus the moms bones sinking through the bed I always hated that because it broke all the established rules however it is a sweet shot. the original has iconic scenes and images but that does not mean the dream element of the movie was done to its fullest potential, the remake and the original are on par in this aspect. and I forgot to mention the opening scene sequence with the kitchen on fire, while no I don't think the remake used the dream premise to its fullest, it did just as much as the original and did them scarier, the original just has shots that we all know by heart and there for we have nostalgia goggles making us think its a fully realistic idea, when in my opinion it is very far from that

sorry but this doesn't make sense. there are a good amount of adult LEGO collectors that would want Lego TMNT that depict their childhood but you have to remember that Lego is made for kids and the 2012 show was the currently running show, for alot of kids this was their TMNT, and would want the Lego sets of their favorite show. if you think about how stupidly successful the playmates toys were and all the backpacks and pinatas and other 2012 TMNT merch at the time, why would such a popular toy like lego undersell a gigantic theme like 2012 TMNT. this was a legal issue not a consumer issue

@@lifelongfanboy yeah. but how about i point out that TMNT is a Paramount property (pretty sure.) and they lost the liscense, yet this year, they are making Lego sets for Sonic The Hedgehog, which is also a Paramount property. i know it's Sega, it's technically both. so what is their excuse now?

Paramount owns the movie rights to sonic only, not the game rights or the merchandising rights
