I would imagine they’re quite noisy. Is that the issue you had or are there other problems?

@@CruisingColemans The view is blocked by the emergency boats. No 100% full view.

@@MyAmFoto they should be advertised as such. It depends what you want from your cabin. Some people don’t mind an obstructed view. I think we would want the full view 😀

@@CruisingColemans In their contract for the room it says 0% obstruction, for them the boat is not considered an obstruction.

@@CarnivalCruiseAddicts storage is fantastic in this cabin! The ship used to do world cruises so it’s perfect for that. The shower curtain is great! Never thought we would say that about a shower curtain 😂

All cabins up to balconies definitely have the shower curtains. I believe the suites have a glass screen (at least some of them do) but I’m not 100% sure which ones do

The portions can be smaller but you can always ask for more, especially in Yacht Club 😀

It was difficult because the ship was full and there was nowhere for us to go. There’s no point in getting angry, it’s not the crews fault but everyone did seem to know about it. We were always being asked how we slept 😂 I can’t tell you the relief of being able to sleep. We were exhausted! Thanks for watching both ☺️

Looking at the deck plan it’s obvious that there’s something there but somehow we missed that. We wouldn’t have know it was a kitchen even if we had seen it. It’s hard to explain just how noisy it was. You couldn’t even try to catch up during the day because it was like it all day and night. The lady we spoke to from concierge was great but with it being peak summer holidays, it was difficult to move us. It’s seems like it’s an issue across the whole class of ship so we’ll be wary next time! It’s a great cabin other than the noise the little water feature! They may not have realised just how bad it would be but they should know that there would be some noise. I feel sorry for the crew who have to deal with passengers complaining about it every cruise. We’re not ones to complain, nothings perfect and you just go with the flow but not being able to sleep is a biggie for us

@CruisingColemans it's definitely more than fair to complain about this, that's for sure. And like you say, the deck plan would have shown a big blank crew space which could have been anything. But that grade of cabin in another location (and minus the water feature) would be lovely 😊

@@MarinaAndJoeGo we have another one booked that will hopefully be ok! We may have to see if we can bid for an upgrade, we don’t want to same issue again! We had to complain on this one. Not sleeping is not good!

@CruisingColemans not sleeping and getting flooded are 2 of the worst disruptions possible on a cruise (short of a natural disaster or ill health/accident) 😪 Setting the problems aside, do you think the cabin (and Yacht Club price) was good value for money?

@@MarinaAndJoeGo we love YC and it’s a great experience. We think we probably drink more because it’s included 🤭 it’s handy having the internet but we wouldn’t usually bother. However, the cabins (besides this one), the YC areas and facilities and the services are fantastic. It’s debatable if it’s worth it or not but it is a fantastic experience. An inside cabin makes it better value. We’ve come to the conclusion that for us, it’s better when we go with our friends who always go YC. When we go just the 2 of us, we feel it doesn’t matter so much. Sorry that’s such a long winded answer. Hopefully it makes sense! It’s definitely something to experience at least once!

It was such a bad few days with no sleep. The leak was the straw that broke the camels back. We were so happy when we had another cabin! The message was very welcome 😀

Some of the furnishings are dated and she’s a bit rusty on the outside but we felt that the service was fantastic, the food very good and we really enjoyed our cruise. We can only give our opinion as we see it and hope that by watching our video, it shows others what they can expect from Arcadia

We found the ship to be very well maintained. It feels like they really look after it. Have a fantastic time on Quest!

Generally, the further forward or further back you are you do tend to feel movement more. This ship is quite small so I don’t think location matters quite as much! We sailed around Iceland in this cabin and we didn’t feel any movement but depending on where you’re sailing, you might be more prone to rougher conditions. It’s a lovely cabin and it’s really nice having g the balcony outside. You have a full sized table which is perfect for a spot of room service. Let us know if you have any other questions. @@CruisingColemans Thank you very much. We really appreciate it. We are doing a 12 Day Italy Intensive cruise from Rome to Venice from 4/11/2025 to 4/23/2025. We are very excited. We plan to purchase some excursions such as Florence and Pisa but for the smaller ports, the ones with historic and quaint districts we are thinking of exploring on our own in a more relaxed way, and be able to return to the boat whenever we chose or just hang out in a area we like. Do you have any insight on excursions vs free exploring? Again, thank you very much.

@@josephdangelo5147 we don’t often do cruise line excursions but if what we want to see is quite a distance we would tend to book with the cruise line. We mostly get off and walk around but we do use Viator and Get Your Guide. If you do a little research on each port I’m sure you’ll be fine to get off an d explore yourself. Also have a look at What’s In Port. It’ll tell you what’s in the vicinity of the port. Have a wonderful cruise! Sorry for the delay in replying to you ☺️

This is the perfect layout for a cabin. We love having the bed by the balcony. The balcony is really big too which is unusual for newer ships. Thank you for your lovely compliment 🥰

Definitely interesting 😂 it wouldn’t be our choice but at least the cabin was spacious and clean

Sorry for the delay in replying to you. It’s closer to the old town. It’s not too far from the gold souk. The airport was only around 20 minutes from here. We found we needed to get a taxi/uber wherever we went along with some public transport as it’s difficult to get between each of the points of interest by foot. We would probably choose a different location next time but the hotel itself was great

The Edge Class ships are beautiful. It’s probably our favourite ship. The crew are lovely, the service was fantastic and we really enjoyed all of the food. A week or two on board would be fantastic!

@@SailwithGailandMike The best advice we can give is to be open minded. The food is fantastic and the ship is beautiful. The entertainment is t your usual cruise entertainment but still very good. I’m sure you’ll have a fab time!
