I have a 67 Spitfire on my channel with engine running
John, your Spitfire is lovely. I have a 1970 firebird with a big alloy tank. It has a smaller headlight and I had fitted an insert with a halogen globe, but I replaced that globe with a high quality LED which is advertised at 6 X brighter and it probably is. This is what a Firebird 650 is like going along. I re-balanced this and fitted a 22t front sprocket. The head is ported and it gives around 70mpg. th-cam.com/video/D-Z0_hVnuYY/w-d-xo.html
Alloy tanks are beautiful to look at when they are polished up.
Very beautiful motorcycle I love that music hell yeah ❤❤❤
Nice!
Absolute beautiful sounds magic
beautiful
All talking. No howling Dell'ortos and thundering Conti 'silencers'.
Wonder if adding a rubber composite head steady would have lowered the vibration on these? Or maybe static balancing all the crankshafts as Royal Enfield did with the 750 interceptor?
great bike. better than modern, except maybe shakes a bit when rung out.
Very nice mate Had a 96 900ss and got a 98 750 now missout on a 750 ss 1978 15k years go love The DUCs on ya
i love the detail touches especially the vents in the primary drive case.
How nice to see someone who actually knows about these old British bikes; Superb job ! Would like to have heard it running, hint ;-)

Pile of S ---t as far as anyone who has ever ridden one will know
Yes! Use those curbs - they're part of the race track! I was almost afraid to watch this until the end - thought it might have been the time you had to be airlifted to a hospital.
Gorgeous.
Hi there John,I owned a 1977 900 SS back in 1978.It's a bike that has so much character.A great handling bike, especially at high speed. Now I have my fun on my LOOK bicycles cornering etc.I am now 64.Thanks for sharing your video.Really enjoyed it!
Sempre admirei a motorcycle BSA.
I was at Todd's R90S and R100RS Hans Muth celebrations. Both outstanding. Thanks John.
You got to be the luckiest guy around to own three of the most rare and sought-after Ducatis on the planet!!! You are a very lucky man!!! My God I love all three of them!!
Hi John you are a lucky guy, three stunning bikes bud, keep safe, enjoy
First of all it sounded like a bag of nails! as we used to say, then it settled down, but strange high squeak sounded like gasket blowing, but bikes in garages always sound a bit rough as noises are amplified. I have fitted quite a few sidecars to these when they were new. To ride one solo with sidecar gearing is great fun as it gets off the mark very quickly. I have also ridden the previous all iron cylinder models including the 600cc. As an old man I now find the price they are fetching incredible. At one time they were a few hundred quid s/h No wonder these old bikes are getting stolen. Glad to see so many being brought back to life. I once owned an ex speedway Duggie prior to J.A.P engines that had been converted to road use. I bought it from Mr Mitchell who owned Abbey Spares in Merton. The gearbox was high up in the frame and the engine was in line, I was in the RAF at the time. I ran it on Methanol and Castrol R. At full tilt it sounded like a swarm of bees a great bike but it had a habit of the crankshaft bob weights moving out of line, and my 48 hour leave was mainly spent repairing it. God know the value of one of these today.
Sounds great
I love that 900 Desmo SS...! Blue and Silver
A Piece of Art
That bike sounds awesome John
I love seeing your bikes John. Thanks for sharing. Guzzi’s are in a class of their own. They don’t feel like the Ducati’s of the time and they feel nothing like the BMW airheads.
Fantastic!
Beautiful bikes John. My old 81 Hailwood is waiting for a bunch of small jobs to get it back on the road next year so I'm binging on Ducati bevel videos to add to the motivation. Please post more!
