Thanks for the kind words and for sharing! I tried Elden Ring as well and got about 14 hours into it, but then ended up getting side-tracked by other games so I never got around to finishing it. I’d have to start over but truthfully souls games aren’t my cup of tea, but I can tell you from what I played of Elden Ring that it was a very well made game. Baldurs gate 3, on the other hand, IS my type of game and I absolutely loved it. Cheers!

Howdy! Thanks for the comment and question. Unfortunately, it’s been a while since I played this mod and I cannot recall where the leech is coming from 😅. It’s very fun and I had a blast playing it. At times I kind of wished I could have played it with other players though but otherwise it was a great experience.

I agree with you that betrayal sounds a bit dramatic, but it was just a feeling that came to my mind so I shared it. You make some interesting points so I’d like to talk about it. This series is very near and dear to me and Blizzard has not given me a reason to trust them just yet. If they can pull it off it would be great, but I’d prefer they focus on fixing the base game first before adding more content. It appears to me that they have their priorities all mixed up, and it’s obvious the main focus is money making. I’d happily pay money each year for quality content for a game I like, but right now after a couple hundred hours I’d rather play other games until they fix some of the commonly referred to problems (I.e., resistances). Remember this is just my opinion so take it with a grain of salt, but it all comes down to the relationship between the developer and the community. If this was Larian Studios making these promises I’d feel quite a bit differently about it as they have earned my trust and loyalty over the years after seeing them deliver quality. I said it multiple times at the end but I’d love to be wrong. I just don’t feel good about it right now 🤷🏽‍♂️.

D2 lasted 10-20 years. D4 lasted a month and a half or less. You do the math.

@@zoranhorvat8284 I’m in act 3 myself and I agree it has SO MUCH to do. I cannot believe anyone beats this game in under 100 hours! I’m loving it and it’s looking to be one of my favorite games ever, period! Larian has done it again :)

@@casualgamingdad2424 How did you handle jungle area? ?'m guessing since you're on the same act, and this was in the very begining of it, I won't spoil anything.. I prevented the jerk Akabi (red Djinn in circus) to cheat me at wheel of fortune, I stole the Djinn ring from him, and he got VERY mad when I won the game, and teleported the character I initiated the conversation with, to the jungle area alone, with 5 or 6 dinosaurs roaming around! I was in sneak mode on arrival, so I assumed that this is the way to do it, sneak past them, loot what I can, and find some way out of there! But, I accidentally pressed C while sneaking, and got my self in a middle of combat with dinosaurs! I killed the one closest to me, the one that detected me, and the portal was just one jump away, but then I realized that it wasn't very hard to kill the first one, and the character in the jungle was Lae'zel, with great jump distance, great HP, and strong as hell! So I saved the game, just in case, and turn around to clear the whole area! Shame to leave all that XP behind! I wasn't able to pick the lock on the chest I found near the portal with Lae'zel, so I stole the whole chest, and bring it back to my custom Ranger with sleigh of hand off the chart! In there was the greatest weapon I found so far, Nyrulna, trident with great stats, it returns to you when thrown, you cannot be forced to drop it, and also when thrown, creates explosion that deals lightning dmg! And if that wasn't enough, it increases your jump and movement distance by 10ft, it glows like the Blood of Lathander, and you're immune to falling damage while wearing it! It also give you 2 extra weapon actions, Zephyr Flash and zephyr Break, first one rushes you forward dealing lightning damage, and the other one is similar to gust of wind

@@zoranhorvat8284 uh wow, I actually was not able to figure out what I needed to do to stop the Djinn from cheating because I missed a check to help me determine that. That weapon sounds incredible though so I may need to go back and see if I can get it 😂

Initiate the dialog with strong character, to try to collect the exp from dinosaurs, or maybe caster with aoe spells, cause they jump, so eventually, you'll be surrounded.. I used sweep attack with Lae'zel, with some trip attacks to make them fall.. Only one character can enter the domain

@@casualgamingdad2424 Well, the House of Hope was certanly a LOT of fun! Barely made it out of there alive! Don't know if you're there yet, so I won't say much, but man, what a fight! Didn't managed to rescue Hope, the prisoner, but I honestly didn't care! I was just happy to defeat Rafael! If you're finished with that, if you didn't made a pact with him for the Orphic hammer, and was forced to steal the hammer yourself and kill him, let me know how you did it.. For me, took me quite a while to deal with him, 2 hours actually! Had to resort to cheese tactic!

For the thousands of people that want BG3 to succeed, there are people who want it to fail because they don't want the cost to quality ratio affected. Games are expensive to make, I'm shocked they are still being sold at $60, though lots of companies are trying to push it up (Sony PS5 games are now $70 for instance). I have all the content in Baldur's Gate (aside from the Early Access items) and I got it for sixty bucks on Steam. The game takes like 100 hours to complete. The people who don't want it to succeed are the same people either involved in, or supporting, Diablo IV, Overwatch 2, and Destiny 2, which are all crappy products designed TO make money, rather than understanding that money will come as a side effect of a good game. I also laugh when I hear people saying Larian had all these unobtainable resources when they have a fraction of the people as companies like Blizzard who had the same six year development window yet the former is being praised and the latter is being rightfully mocked.

@@Sindrella. well said! Larian studios is the last bastion of hope for me since I played DOS2 back in 2017. I was SUPER happy when I heard they got the license for BG3 and so far the game does not disappoint at all. I look forward to my many playthroughs of this game over the years. As you said, the money comes later AFTER you deliver a good game. Unfortunately, too many companies are ran by higher-ups who are extremely greedy and want to pump games out before they’re polished so they can report higher quarterly earnings, but we as the consumers keep buying them. That’s modern gaming these days sadly.

"Safe" is definitely a common theme in this game. I cannot blame Blizzard given the controversies and problems they have had over the last few years for taking this approach. Additionally, for most casuals it's not going to matter too much. I do appreciate some of your points with the itemization. On one hand, I am a bit relieved that trading is not a thing since I found myself spending hours and hours trading in Diablo 2 as opposed to actually playing the game. On the other hand, sometimes finding specific gear can take a similar amount of time or longer so one could argue if I find something for another person or class (also duplicates) that I could use those to trade for other items I need. They would need to change the "smart" loot system or at least tune it a bit. Cheers!

@@scotty562 if I’m understanding you correctly then I can tell you this happens to me at times as well. What I find myself doing often is closing a list and reposting a fresh one. This puts mine back towards the top. When I’m shopping I often find myself mainly looking at the upper portion of listings and not bothering scrolling down too much so I imagine many buyers do the same. I hope this helps!

Howdy! When you search for a specific item and click the add listing button there should be multiple drop down menu options, which varies based on the item. You have to select it and choose which stat you want, and once you do you’ll see a tab for that stat populate for you to put in the number or percentage. I know how important that is because for some items listing them with the appropriate stats makes a MASSIVE difference for the price and will attract potential buyers who don’t want to have to message a seller. I know I wouldn’t. I hope this helps!

@@casualgamingdad2424 Hey there :) Yes, I now did watch a couple of your newest video's, to check if you got a new mic or different settings. I noticed the static background noise was gone and I couldn't hear any other sounds in the background. The only thing that was a bit loud were the adjustments to the physical microphone or something on your desk. I also noticed that the audio now goes from my left to right ear depending on where you speak into the mic. It's an easier listen if it's a balanced sound instead of a 3D sound like that, but I'm not sure how to fix that, might be something mono or stereo related. I know you said I shouldn't apologize, but, again, I'm sorry to be so critical of your sound quality. It's just important to me personally if I wanna listen to long form video's. Cheers! ^^

@@stickyrubb thanks again for the feedback! I will have to look at some of the sound settings for my microphone to see if I can do what you’re suggesting. I’m pretty unfamiliar with that but I’m sure I can learn so 🙏.
