Ive been helping for 2 years now and im trying to learn as much as i can about down hole not that ive learned my side. These videos help alot
Teeth ? How about Matrix ? So,have you ever heard of LCM ? Also,Polymer acts as a Flocculent and cause the Cuttings to settle out in the Drill Hole. Also a Homemade Rod Plug will ensure that you have enough Fluid at the Casing Shoe and you don’t have to worry about burning the Casing Shoe to the Rods.
That’s a Latch Assembly. Not a Backend and to avoid burning the Casing Shoe to the Core Barrel,a plug with Male Threads on the Pin end and a Female Box end can be made up from an old Drill Rod to be Screwed onto the Rod String before setting the Rods on bottom to Ream the Casing. This keeps the Drill Fluid flowing around the Casing Shoe instead of Flowing out through the Drill Bit and causing the Casing Shoe to burn onto the Core Barrel and with a Threaded Plug the Driller can Reconnect to the Drill String if the Rods advance to a point below Ground level.
A won’t to work for you nice place
If your bit dies in a deep layer over overburdened would you try ream over the barrel? Or still just advance the casing to 3m behind the barrel before pulling out?
We’ve used PWT once to ream over to free up 100m+ of HWT casing. PWT is heavy asf 😂
Oh wow I didn’t even think about the hole deviating, I always thought casing was to prevent water loss, cave ins and stuck pipe. Great information
Nice work , all went smooth ... although, the weight distribution could be better planned ... :) , all heavy things in front and lighter in the back , this would provide a better stability to the truck ...
good work
Great information... Can You explain about the fluit for drilling... Also the relationship the rpm to advance to drill? Thanks
Thanks for the comment! Those topics will be covered in future videos, stay tuned!
Here in Mexico, platforms made of concrete were also used, the chassis of the machine is anchored with screws to the concrete and it does not move anywhere, greetings.
that's an amazing video !
How long of water line? Impressive! Makes me sweat just thinking about it
It was a pretty impressive project! 1km long water line x 2 1400' of lift 600psi water pressure at the pumps 20GPM of water at the drill Zero hours down time over 3 months. Our crews don't mess around! 💪
Super jealous! Would love to experience those views in person!
Aren't they incredible!?!?
