I agree that Aspinall is now 100% the fight that he needs to take… Stipe can be his last fight win lose or draw, But the next fight he comes back from that injury should be Aspinall… Also if jones comes back from that injury and fights Aspinall AND WINS it further cements him as the ultimate goat… I am a little worried for Aspinall fighting Jones right away only because some fans will say “Aspinall beat jones coming back from an injury”… I will not be one of them but I have a feeling that will be the excuse from fans… Aspinall just fought… I think best case scenario for both parties is Jones fights stipe soon and then Jones and Aspinall fight afterwards which would give Aspinall a good camp… we shall see but either way Jones and Aspinall will fight.. People are trading punches with Aspinall because he is forcing them to lol. His fighting style is a combination of maximum offence and speed allowing him to close distances in a way we just don’t get to see in heavyweight. I agree jones kicks could be a significant problem for Tom. But once the two are in pocket, ask who is the better knockout artist of the two? I think the biggest threat to Tom is someone with the fists of Ngannou or Peirera, If Jon Jones had better knockout power I would be favouring him but the fact of the matter is he’s not a true heavyweight, his lifestyle has aged him dramatically and even in his prime he still wasn’t knocking people out despite proven steroid usage. The only thing a present day Jones has over Aspinall is physical reach and perhaps fight IQ. I just want to see them fight…
