Hello, and Happy Friday! Thank you for the new video and the thoughts it has generated! Your observations and opinion on Rottweilers mirror what I've heard, and that is you have to show them who's the boss right from the start. They need to know you're in charge and what the boundaries are. I've heard it said that Huskies don't have much motivation to please their owners. From being around neighbors' dogs I've learned that Weimaraners and Vizslas are high strung and can't ever sit still. It's something that comes with the breeds. A veterinarian told a friend if she wanted a mean dog she should get a poodle, and I've known some feisty poodles. Still, with any breed, and with any pet, the owner has to be fair and consistent. My childhood home had a farm field behind it and to the west, so we always had a cat to keep mice away. And, that's made every one of us kids a cat person. Nothing against dogs, but I'm more used to cats. But I fully approve of St. Bernards 'cause they traditionally tote that little keg of brandy with them ha-ha. Thanks again for taking viewers on a thoughtful and interesting adventure. Have a fun Friday and a wild weekend! ((HUGS))
Good evening, and thank you for another great "makes you think" feature! I'm not one to take the zodiac and astrology as solid and infallible, but there's a chance my being born under a water sign (Pisces) is what makes me pleased my family settled in the Great Lakes region. My home is in Grand Blanc, just south of Flint and around 70 miles west of Port Huron. It's great to be able to drive a relatively short distance and receive the therapeutic benefits of sitting in one of the scenic turnouts just south of the Blue Water Bridge. It's relaxing to see boat traffic on the St. Clair River and gaze northward to take in the beauty of Lake Huron. You know what? There's nothing on the calendar for the next couple of days. And, it's been awhile since I last let wanderlust direct me. I just might head on over to Port Huron and get some therapy! Thank you for lighting the fire under me! TTY soon! ((HUGS))
Thanks so much for sharing, I was feeling down in the dumps today about where I am in life and this message really helped me reflect and clear my mind. On the note of you feeling better about how your physical environment makes you feel since moving to the lakeside; in Chinese and broadly Asian culture we have a term called “Feng Shui” meaning the way of wind and water. Put simply each person according to their birth chart, health and standard feng Shui laws can organise their surroundings such as environment, building and object to create harmony and balance thus free flow of energy in their life. My friend was born with lots of “water element” and was advised to live near a mountain side to ground their energy. On the other hand in Chinese medicine I have what is called liver deficiency and the element which harms the liver the most is wind so I tend to cover my body with long and thick clothes but would also consider not living at the beach side where it is windy. We also used to have a family restaurant and it’s important to keep energy moving so we kept an indoor water fountain to keep the energy flowing. Whereas stagnant energy is dangerous as it could amplify stagnant business. We also had lots of plants as well to symbolise growth.
Pronghorn?
Blessings. This is inspiring and I hope the right person or people get this message. Thank you for posting this! You've got heart!
Hello! Thank you for opening viewers' eyes to what you've been through and how you've pulled through! It's so ironic and quite frustrating that some of the best health care available in the world is found in the USA. Yet, at the same time, there are so many major hurdles placed in front of patients before they can even hope to receive such care. It seems as if getting to the right doctor, getting them to listen to the patient and being able to afford the care are the most obvious stumbling blocks. A good example is my girlfriend. She's had a lot of trouble with cubital tunnel syndrome in her right wrist. At first the "specialist" put her on painkillers, which didn't really help much. Next came a prescription cream that also didn't do much good. She had asked about getting surgery but they pooh-poohed her about it. She finally had to tell the doctor that if there wasn't going to be any surgery she would find a new doctor. That's when the wheels really began to turn. She had the surgery last week and is off work recovering. Just being away from the workplace is especially therapeutic! Well, thanks again for another topnotch testimonial. Make sure you have a fun Friday and a wild weekend! ((HUGS))
Hello! Hey there! Thank you for opening my eyes to the existence of true mirrors. I had never heard of them before, but they're not something I'll ever own. The everyday bathroom mirror was here in the house and was included in the deal when I bought the place. I figure I can very easily live with seeing what I look like 180 degrees off while feeling good about the $$$ I've saved by staying old school ha-ha. Thanks again for another enlightening video!
@Rick-S-6063 I hear ya Rick! I made a video a while back about how while I was sick I didn't look at myself for an entire year! Had no real idea what I looked like. Since then, I don't really use mirrors a whole lot. They're mostly there for efficiency at this point. It's kinda freeing for me. We're just livin life! 🌱 have a blessed day ☀️
@@thoughtsofmoss Now hold on a minute ha-ha. If you're not using mirrors all that often both you and the mirrors are getting shortchanged. You're a very nice looking lady and you can feel good about yourself. You have a way of holding viewers' attention and putting them at ease. If you and I were ever to meet in person I predict we'd very much enjoy being together. The conversation would flow quite easily and there wouldn't be a dull moment. Who knows? TTY soon!
vague but real (obvious) feeling... Jackson (the latter half of 19 th century in 🇺🇸) featured TLE as "dreamy state"
Did you go see any doctors during this time? Didn’t you notice *at all* how you were declining like did you just think it was some form of depression?
I thought it was depression for a long time! I also was no stranger to general fatigue so I really didn't think it was that odd. I saw doctors and none of them were too concerned with the fatigue/brain fog either. (But doctors rarely are concerned in my experince lol). I got extremely lucky with my next doctor. Found her as my symptoms were just getting worse. She dug deep, then got to witness my extreme weight gain too. Still, she didn't know much about toxic mold either. Most doctors don't. But her curiosity and little knowledge sparked my own research.. She left to help with 2020 so I was on my own for most of it.
I can relate to a lot of this - the brain fog, fatigue. I used to do drugs, and experienced a lot of stress during my teen years. You really forget how it is to be mentally sharp, energetic, well-rested, healthy the way you probably were before. It’s weird because for me, some level of clarity comes in short moments and sometimes I even get a full night of sleep. Those are the moments when I see where I’m really at with my health and what I go through.
❤️🩹
Good evening, and thank you for telling it like it is! I'm very thankful you've pulled through such a harrowing chapter of your life and that you have the courage to share your experiences with viewers. To the best of my knowledge I've never been exposed to toxic mold and, from what you've described, I really don't want to ever be exposed to it. No thanks! But here's hoping you're never exposed to it ever again! You are a fascinating young lady and I want for you to be around to continue with your enlightening features. Well, it's late on Thursday night and, even in retirement I need to be up and at 'em in the AM. So, I'd better sign off. But, here's wishing you a fun Friday and a wild weekend! TTY soon! ((HUGS))
Same here … It’s sad to realize this when you need them the most. Sending hug, I’ll include you in my prayer and think of you
Hello! It's nice to see you have another new video up and available. Perhaps the best way to determine who's a true friend and who's a friend when it suits them is to notice who hangs with you during sickness and tough times. The true friend will be there and put your needs ahead of theirs. They'll be the one you can count on.
Good evening! Thank you once again for sharing your views and for your outright honesty! I see what you mean when you mentioned all therapists should adhere to certain standards, concepts and diagnostic procedures. This isn't an attempt to compare therapy to plumbing, electricity, engineering, etc., but you get my drift. Each profession has standards and codes that have to be adhered to. Of course, the experience of each individual therapist is going to come into play. It's unavoidable, but it can possibly inject an "I never thought of that" enlightenment into the process. The thought of different therapists having different approaches and techniques brought memories of my years as an automotive technical editor. It was common knowledge in the office that if someone took one question to 10 different editors they'd receive 10 different answers. I think much of that was due to one editor being trained by someone who had begun editing in a different era and not always being aware of something changing or a new method having been introduced. And, the situation began a snowball effect and you know the rest of the story. Well, if you do return to therapy here's hoping it's successful and an uplifting in your life is in the works. TTY soon! ((HUGS))
Hi There, I hope you are well. I was analysing your TH-cam channel. Though your video quality is so good, your video doesn't gain much views & subscribers because of the problems mentioned: Your video overview is not optimized perfectly. Your video social engagements are not up to the mark. Your videos have no SEO friendly title optimization. Your videos have no SEO friendly description optimization. Your videos have no High Volume Ranked Tags according to your niche. Overall your video SEO score is not up to the mark. If you can fix these problems your channel will grow very fast & definitely your videos will get more views. Can I help you ? Thank You.
your video got recommended to me and you voiced the questions I have about myself for as long as I can remember. I do call myself an artist, it is how my friends and family describe me. But I do have periods of time where I don't touch any of my art supplies. I lost my habit of filling out sketchbooks. So I do think about this a lot. I think you are right that even when you don't do art, it can still be an artistic process. It is important to find other ways to get inspired. I often find myself scrolling on pinterest endlessly for an "inspiration". But I know the most exciting inspirations I got before was from unexpected things. Maybe I was having a regular walk down the street and I saw a sign that reminded me of that other thing and now I want to create something out of this connection. There is this pressure of "you must create" and always share it with people to get the recognition, which is true. I think that has been my biggest art block. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. It was a great listen :)
@berasart3437 thank you! So glad it resonates! 💕☀️
Hello, and thank you for taking the thoughts on quite a journey! What is the middle ground between acceptance and opposing? Pretty deep thought there! It sounds like an immovable object meeting an irresistible force. And, as always, nature will take its course. If we limit the description of "artist" to someone who paints, sculpts or arranges objects, then I am definitely not an artist. And, if the description is broadened to include musicians and vocalists, then I'm still on the outside looking in. However, if we include those who put thoughts on paper and have a way with words then I might just squeak by ha-ha. Thanks again for a great show!
Good morning, and thank you for another topnotch video! I'm not sure what happened, but I had left a positive comment last night when I had first watched this. Yet, that comment has disappeared. Weird! At any rate, cheers for having pulled through and for having the courage to tell it like it is. Have a fun Friday and a great weekend!
@Rick-S-6063 aw thanks Rick! Your comments are so appreciated! ✨️
@@thoughtsofmoss Hey again! It's good to hear back from you! Maybe what I should do is copy comments as soon as I make them and paste them into a Word document. That way if they disappear I'll still have them handy and maybe there'll be better luck on the second try. Fingers are crossed!
Snyder has twists as well
Good afternoon! And thanks for the right at home video! I have a book about Michigan ghost towns. The author says one reliable way to locate the site of where a town once stood is to look for lilac bushes. They have always been popular and residents would often plant them to mark out their property and obviously to add a little charm and ambience. So, you could say that this video is up to the minute while also bringing back the past. Hang in there and keep cool!
Hello! Congrats on your art piece. Thank you for the explanation as to how it all interconnects and the symbolism behind everything. I admire your ability to create artwork with such thought and depth, but the real work of art here is you. After what you've been through you've managed to draw strength from it all and keep bad vibes out of the picture. Thank you for another great video. TTY before too long!
Hello! And thank you for the new video! I know nothing about child development, dentition, gerontology or anything in that realm, but I think the reasons you might seem to be so much younger are you have very youthful and pretty facial features, you use your hands to get points across and you speak more rapidly than someone in their later years. These aren't criticisms, not at all! I'm glad I've discovered you and I'm enjoying learning what you're all about! Well, time to sign off, but sweet dreams and I'll be back online tomorrow!
@Rick-S-6063 that makes so much sense! 🤔 I really appreciate this outlook!
My best friend's older brother has had an association with wolves since at least his teen years. He had been a borderline longhaired freak in the early 1970s and even had a "white 'fro" when that was fashionable. Much of his music has dealt with wolves and the morbid side of life. His nickname has alternated between Wolfman or just Wolf. So, you're right. Wolf people are definitely out there! BTW, I thought you might have named Spinner after the young guy in the old Clutch Cargo cartoon series. Now that's going way, way back into time!
You look like your 12
Greetings from a Troll viewer in Grand Blanc!
My key to survival is to expect the best while preparing for the worst, and being optimistic while staying cautious. I've never been one to pray 'cause I'm a freethinker, but I always think things through and be prepared.
@Rick-S-6063 That's a good outlook Rick!
@@thoughtsofmoss Thank you for the Lydia Seal of Approval. My tricks to survival seem to be working 'cause I'm still here and life is good. Your mention of being the black sheep of the family in some ways could also apply to me, although my kid sister caused my parents considerable grief. I'm the oldest of three kids and the only son. So, I was always expected to be the most calm, the unswerving, the "model child." Well, that wasn't always the case. I was the daredevil, the vagabond, the chance taker. That didn't sit too well with the rest of the family. Ah, water under the bridge! I will say that as much as I don't like to size anyone up or prejudge them, I have discovered that by taking a cautious approach and standing my ground I've avoided a lot of unhappiness and kept drama away from my door. Again, expect the best but prepare for the worst. Be optimistic but be cautious. Think the best of someone but don't let them pull the wool over your eyes! TTY again soon!
You have very good taste. I watched it when it was new. By season 2 it was on Friday night just before the Partridge Family, then the odd couple, Room 222, then the great Love American Style, all on ABC network. I had so much to look forward to after school. Did you notice everybody except carol had blue eyes.
You def need to judge enough to like recognize red flags and stuff....🤷♀️
I appreciate that and it’s kind of inspiring
Your perspective is unique and you’re a good storyteller
I've never heard of this condition! Thank you for your channel!
Me too 😅
Well, you hit the nail on the head. I haven't considered myself an empath but I can relate extremely well to people at my job. That's why I'm successful at it...I think. I've had to tell people who work under me that the key to our job (a people job) is not compassion but empathy. Compassion is over-rated, maybe not compassion but what passes for "feelings". They seem to me to be "compassionate" with our clients but can't understand what is really going on with them. Interesting that you don't have a tv. Neither do I. But I like movies, especially horror movies, but others as well. I love music and I think you said the right thing. The point is to engage your emotions and yeah, it can take you away from where you are. I think that's the point. I'll tell you something I can't stand, radio. From time to time I try to listen to the radio on my way home from work but it drives me crazy. I find myself asking, "What the hell are these people even saying?" And what passes for music is appalling, faux country, modern christian music. NPR has some, with an emphasis on some good classical music but I don't like NPR on principle. So yeah, I have some elements of that. One of my hobbies is working on cars, that take me away and I don't have to talk to anyone while I do it, even though it would be nice. Anyway, that's enough rambling. I can relate.
Damn, girl, you might have not looked upon yourself for a year but I can't stop looking at you! 😍Moss, you look like a boss!

Jittery Joes' just plain and black. It's the best.
been wondering about that, but didn't want to ask.
About the ''Eat when you're hungry'' thing. I don't always get hungry. I can go a whole day eating nothing or very little, feeling very good. Then suddenly something, often my legs start hurting in a very specific way, and that's my reminder to eat. And that's pretty much the only sign I get. Sometimes I feel it in my stomach, but mostly not. And then, how much should I eat? What's feeling full, but not too full, I'm not sure. (Apparently, it's common with autism.)
@PetrichorIsNice Wow this was me for a long long time. It's still a constant thing I have to remind myself every day to eat 2,000 calories (which was literally more than double what I ate before). Since maintaining that, I've healed tremendously. Our adrenals suffer when we don't take care of ourselves. So, totally get what ya mean! Kinda glad I'm not alone lol 😅
I think of moss.
I need to find my moss. I just wanna stay bed rot all day

This is such an interesting video. I'm kind of doing the same thing(not looking at myself/no selfies/etc) just bc I don't want to have so much of my thoughts focused on my appearance.

Awesome vid it's nuts to see the kind of wisdom you extracted from that hardship. I've always been hypercritical of the way I look but over the last year or so I've become less attached to the finer details of the way I present. I might try the mirror thing though for a bit as I'm still not 100% over it. Thank you for sharing your story :)
