Well, now I have the theme song from the TV show running in my brain! We lived out in the country with neighbors 2 miles away and plenty of wild things.

Loved the Crockett shows when I was a kid, 6 or 7....remember at that time going to play bingo with my parents and I was given a card and I won--a Davy Crockett teddy bear complete with coonskin cap and a rubber knife...I was in my glory.

Davy Crockett meets Mike Fink was probably the best Disney attempt at comedy, better than the Absent Minded Professor, but not as well known. Their keel boat race was memorable.

I’m a little young for Davy Crockett. But I did have a Danial Boone coonskin hat. So did quite a few of kids on my block.

As a young teenager it was pretty cool having Fess Parker as ranch neighbor He was a class act . Crying shame how city of Santa Barbara screwed him over and over

Davy was my first and all time favorite.
