Just one point here, well not so little, Jesus did NOT die on a cross but rather an upright stake (Grk Stauros) or upright pole ! Remember what the Bible says that we MUST worship God "with spirit and with TRUTH" !

Free will and resistible grace : John 6:66 King James Version 66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. Matthew 23:37 King James Version 37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

What is Biblical "repentance" ? th-cam.com/video/jdvJKZ2yZOk/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/lmyPJx2biTk/w-d-xo.html What is Biblical Sanctification? www.youtube.com/@777GJ/search?query=progressive%20sanctification Bible versions have been altered for a purpose by certain groups who do not have the souls of people at heart, this can be researched - the changes which deny or corrupt the deity of Christ, the changes which make salvation into a process - and which deny Biblical Sanctification - it is clear in Scripture that salvation and sanctification are instant upon receiving The Gospel and trusting only in The Person and work of Jesus Christ - do we trust in OUR repenting or is repenting part of beleiving unto salvation ? There are many ""gospel"" variations promoted today and the common errors are " repent [ i.e. forsake and / or turn away from / give up ] your sins IN ORDER to be saved | "Invite Jesus into your heart " IN ORDER to be saved | are two common errors which people could research Scripture for themselves - we may find that they have been planted by religious groups who do not serve Jesus and who deny His Person and His work - Jesus said that The Gospel is simple that a child can understand it and that fools should not err therein. The Gospel brings peace, assurance and joy, not constant fruit inspection and worry if we have repented enough or worry if we have repented correctly etc - "Do We Believe The Good News of Jesus Christ ? " ( Gospel = Good News) Do we trust The Gospel ? Do we trust the Person and work of Jesus 100% and NOTHING else? Are we striving to please other people? Striving to fit in ? Striving to PROVE to others that we are saved? Are we being beaten down by judgmentalism due to our failures in living up to the expectations of others? Are we secretly lying to ourselves and to others in order to fit in or to avoid criticism ? Or have we entered into the promised rest for our soul ?It is there in Scripture - comparing versions can be done easily using hard copies and side by side facilities on web sites like biblegateway. Religion enslaves, Jesus alone saves.

Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. If grace is irresistible then we have no free will - we do have free will - ⏱is short - people need to study about these "Doctrines of Grace" where they come from and compare them honestly with Scripture - personally have heard so many times, preaching which does not accept all of the Scripture - but looks at the word of God through a lens , a format and that is TULIP - it is pseudo Romanism - ( Galatians chapter 1 and chapter three ) ESV has changes which do not honour Christ and what God gave us - ⏳🙏 www.youtube.com/@777GJ/search?query=Irresistible%20grace

18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. (Romans 5:18) John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOEVER believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. Acts 10:34 ...."In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. 1st Corinthians 1:12-13 12 Now I say this, that each of you says, “I am of Paul,” or “I am of Apollos,” or “I am of Cephas,” or “I am of Christ.” 13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul? ( Or Calvin or Wesley or Arminius - - - - - many man made frameworks exist, through which people view Scripture)

Exactly this! "Unnumbered souls are dying and passing into night". Yet we think we will wait till they think we are nice and kind and have seduced them with our cakes and cups of tea before we share some cosy notion of forgiveness. We are not reaching the lost with the gospel, we are selling ourselves, comfortable talking only of common grace, not saving grace.

Wonderful! There were occasions when I ‘asked Jesus into my heart’ when I was a child, but when conversion eventually came through the Holy Spirit, only then was I granted faith and repentance. I was given eyes to see and ears to hear. I was spiritually reborn, my dead heart of stone ripped out and a living beating pure heart was created within me.

All my heart knows, is to ask Jesus in, as a child would, and He will answer any questions you have, as one of His children. The love is from the living God, through His son, Jesus, and is very real.

Yes, and as well as verse 34 in Corinthians, Paul asks in verse 36, "Was it from you that the word of God came?" and verse 37 says "the things I am writing to you are a command of the Lord". He couldn't make it any clearer. Yet some have ears, but cannot hear.

Even if Matthew and Hebrews each belong in their own context, I can see why people found the two chapters familiar.

Yes, this is often used as a copout! How many people have been converted merely by somebody's good example? Yes, our lives should ideally demonstrate the living out of the gospel, but we are fallible creatures. Without the preaching and teaching of God's word, which is infallible, nobody will be convicted of their true state which leads to repentance and without repentance how can we encounter the Saviour, Jesus Christ and be redeemed?
