I really do like tiny builds, just something about trying to fit it all in small spaces just appealing to me also challenging, with larger builds I find it more of a challenge to fill a space and make it actually look lived in. 🙃

The video is made up of multiple recordings, some stuff may have been cut when I was editing and deemed necessary at the time and I do know that the doors I placed are the same ones in the tour, the bathroom and bedroom doors are the 'Kameio' doors and the front door is the 'Makin' door so nothing was actually skipped. I also sped the video up due to it taking so long to actually make. 👍

In the UK (I'm not sure if it's the same elsewhere in the world) we refer to single houses separated by a distance as "detached houses", 2 houses next to each other then separated by a distance with another 2 attached houses are referred to as "semi detached" and "terraced" is typically houses lined up like these ones here. ^_^

What's interesting to me is the older townhouses (pre-WW1) have a solid double-course of brick wall between every dwelling to prevent fires spreading (the origin of the term 'Firewall') & the lots are often quite long so the neighbours your windows are facing to the front or the rear where sound travels in might actually still be 100-200 feet away. So although these houses are directly next to each other, the acoustics & materials mean you actually see & hear much less of your neighbours than if you lived in a detached dwelling with lighter materials like wood or plaster board & windows on all four sides of your house letting sound in from all sides, particularly if you have a nice high fence, wall, or hedge to partition your property. (Source: I grew up in a detached house on a quarter-acre in Australia & heard/saw my neighbours constantly) I'm not sure this is unique to Britain at all though. Older American cities have abundant terraced (townhouses) & semi-detached (i.e. duplex) housing similar to the UK where the houses are literally attached to each other (some lovely examples such as Brownstone terraces in Boston & New York). And I regularly see massive modern American McMansions squeezed onto plots where you could barely walk a dog or haul your groceries down the gap between the structures so they might as well be attached to each other. Both of these things are true of my experience of Australia & New Zealand too. Though maybe Britain is unique (in the English speaking world) in that its modern zoning didn't neglect a medium-density of housing between single family homes & apartment blocks for most of the 20th century. Though what's strange & fascinating to me is when I see some American suburbs with no physical boundary such as fencing between the properties at all! Just one yard running uninterrupted into another. No privacy, nothing to keep animals or children in/out. etc - not always of course but not having a fully fenced back yard is almost unheard of everywhere I've lived, particularly if you live within sight of other people!

Oh I completely agree, it's so much easier building in House Flipper 2 over the original, although initially I did struggle to get the dimensions of the build but I'm super glad with how it turned out. 🙃

The top windows are done using the "glass panels" and also the move tool. ^_^

The double glazing is so finnicky lol, I wanted to make sure they were aligned with each other. The foundation does looks pretty cool, I do wonder if it would technically hold up a house though. XD

The poles are mods from the Steam store on PC and the interior design tab is what appears when you have mods installed. ^_^

I much prefer DL1 to DL2, although it does have some good parts, dynamics, and was alright to play it just felt a bit dull in my opinion whereas DL1 I can get lost for a good while just walking around and enjoying the environment. I hope The Beast will expand on the 1st game while also introducing some elements from 2nd whilst also being its own thing. :)

You know I have wondered this myself, I'd like to know what the GRE's end game would be IF Crane did give the file back to them and continued down the DL2 path or whether Crane betrayed everyone and goes to work with/for Rais in the end, personally I reckon Rais would have killed Crane anyway due the power struggle that would probably ensue if he did switch sides lol. Hopefully we will get some answers in Dying Light: The Beat which I will be covering as I am already in line for it. ^_^
